The rant is going to be upset tomorrow.

I think anyone looking for our defense to blitz a lot and cause “havoc” is going to be very upset with Aranda tomorrow. I personally don’t think we send very many guys to blitz Tua. Alabama is very similar to us with going to short passes to playmakers is the bread and butter of the offense and sending too many I think would be a mistake. I think only rushing 3 or 4 and having the DBs playing press would affect Tua and their passing scheme more than sending the house. However, I’m sure mixing it up with some situational blitz/stunts is to be expected.
TL;DR: it’s going to be a short completion fest up and down the field with our red zone defense holding them to field goals and the rant yelling for Aranda to be fired the entire game.

I dont give a shite how much pressure we bring, as long as we win the game. Id like to think Aranda has his finger on the pulse of the defense, knows what we are and arent capable of right now, what our weaknesses are, and how to overcome them. This is why they are paid the big bucks.

Expect to see a lot of different defensive schemes thrown at BAMA, especially if they don’t work. I think Aranda and staff are going to try to confuse Tua more than anything by doing things like dropping DEs and false blitzers into shallow zone to defeat the slant. My main concern is that we will get so complicated with mixing man and zone coverages that we will be leaving guys wide open deep several times in the game.

It won't be very often but I think early it will be tried in hopes of getting a hit on Tua. I think they show it a lot and back out of it so you don't know when it comes.
I hope they try bumping the WRs to throw timing off and make Tua wait a half second longer.

Really have you not been paying attention the entire year? Unless we get a sack, interception, FF or some kind of negative yardage on every defensive play everyone is questioning the defensive scheme and the coach.
