Unfortunately even if you don't want to believe it, this is a bit of a rebuild. Of our Juniors and Seniors there are only 5 that are any good and only 2 of them are real difference makers. All our true talent are freshman and sophomores and the majority of them need time to fully develop into the playmakers they will become. Add in the fact that our Oline and Dline depth are paper thin and that my friend is the recipe for a rebuild.

What's funny to me is O was the recruiting coordinator for the last two yrs. Then the defensive line coach before that.
So why are there so many holes on the roster?
Why is the d-line in such bad shape?
Is none of the above O's fault?

Actually he wasn't the recruiting coordinator for 2 years. He was recruiting coordinator after Frank Wilson left. So actually he was recruiting coordinator for 6 months and then interim head coach.

If ALL of those are true, LSU has bigger problems than just who the head coach is and nothing personal against Ed O, I don't think he's capable of fixing all of those problems.
