On each down miles decides if it's run or pass/ this takes him longer then it should--
Then Cameron scrambles to find the best play for the run/pass for the situation
That's why we take so much time and look confused

Its run, run, throw, punt. Come on man, it's not that hard.

I seriously doubt that happens on every play.
It is probably more like at the beginning of a drive Les says to run clock or to air it out or what not. Which by the way every coach in America does.

The problem with the offensive play calling has come to me in a vision. As the song goes " I Can See Clearly Now " . I would share , but others might be offended. Stay tuned for updates.

And it's been well documented that Miles will override that play chart and scripted plays.

Idk the delay of games have gone down a bunch since 2010.

That was more on crowton and his crazy sub packages. Stud was like, we aren't doing that anymore, and boom, confusion is gone.

And it seems like with Harris more so than any other qb I recall under Miles, they use the cards on the sideline. So with him, he's looking to the sideline a bunch.

Problem is a lot of our passing plays take too long to develop and there are too many one or two receiver routes. It was the same way when Mettenberger was QB but he was able to make the big 3rd down completions.

There was a study done in like 2013 which showed LSU to be one of the slower teams in the country running plays. That same study showed that Bama , Florida, and two other SEC teams, I can't recall who, ran plays slower than LSU.

Since LSU is one of the top three teams in college football for wins since 05, I really don't see the big deal, but each to our own .

OMG!!! The horror of a head coach making decisions based on what is happening on the field.

Interestingly only Les Miles does this.

The problem is we run a basic predictable offense. instead of putting more playmakers on the field for the defense to account for. instead of putting out highly talented WRs and RBs (buga and guice together) we put out blocking TEs and lead dive fullbacks.

We keep getting talent for a high powered offense that we wont turn the gain up on

It's almost as if Les has no ability to think 1 play ahead. He doesn't think beyond the current play until after the play is over.

It's actually just the opposite. Les is thinking about the 4th quarter when he calls all of those dive plays in the first half. He wants' to wear down defenses. About 80% of the time it works, sometimes it doesn't.

It's the FANS that can't think past the next play. The fans don't even seem to understand how to set up play action.

It takes a while for the receiver to get 45 yards downfield and to the sideline.

As do virtually all head coaches.
This happens very seldom and is parroted by folks who don't know much about inner workings of playcalling and just want to lay redundant blame at feet of head coachbes. (They already own this along with any defensive failures)

Link to one article saying this. This is just one in a long list of rant bullshite myths that football ignorant posters just regurgitate because they read other football ignorant posters post it.

Link me to just one article of coaches saying Miles does anything different than any other head coach?.
