If LSU wins the Republican candidate has won the election.....

If Bama wins the Democratic candidate has won the election....

This has held true since 1984....

I think the word you were looking for is "fate"

But given the two candidates, it's tough to argue with the word you chose.

The streak started when a woman was up for Vice President in 84 so it ends when a woman is up for president 16.
