LSU has and has had on offense because of the product the previous coaching staffs put on the field.

Coach O and Canada are releasing the sleeping giant.

btw, I don't blame anyone for not giving us credit until we actually show it on the field. as for me, i'm sold. this is a really good football team. we do need luck with injuries.

Geaux Tigers!

A quick perusal of NFL rosters can give one a pretty good idea. I think it's pretty well known how much talent we've squandered the last 5 years

We also did not develop. Too many players did not have a chance to reach their potential.

Kind of my take. I have listened to the sport radio a lot recently and I always hear them say "no one in the SEC can challenge Alabama".

Now, this is a two part problem.

A: we are in the same division as Bama who is at the top of everyone's list.

B: we have generally looked like arse the last few years.

If we were in ANY other league we would be talked about more.

We are going to run through some people this year.

I agree. However offensive line has only recently come up to snuff.

We'll be talked about if we only lose to Bama this year. You can bet on that. I agree with OP. We bringing out the full potential of this entire team and will look very good because of it. If we beat Auburn, Florida, Tennensee then play a great game with Bama, coming down to the wire with them, everyone will know that it's a new day in BR. Recruiting will pick up as well. If Etling has a good year, gets drafted, and we can play Brennen in some competitive action then QB recruiting will pick up.

With that the rest of the offense should follow it. OL, WRs, RBs, Ect. will all want to come play for a team that can knock Bama off. Why wouldn't you? With each person that wants to be an the Bama roster there are 10 that can't and want to beat them. What better school to come to do that than LSU. GT

When OJ Howard made the statement That the NFL is like playing LSU every week. That pretty much sums up that the rest of the sec knows we got some hawses

But I thought tRant said we were terrible, had shitty players, and have no chance at winning anything?

You can have a great O line but if the defense knows whats coming, they'll never perform. The last few years bama has just crashed across the line of scrimmage and caused havoc and dumb azz refused to adapt.

If LSU doesn't beat Alabama, they won't make the playoffs, especially if the other conference champions are all undefeated.

11-1 only loss to bama on the road. Good shot we making playoff. No sec game or not.
Especially if we play them close and the rest of the nation doesn't have 15 undefeated

It was obvious to the most casual observer that we wasted our offensive talent under Miles. Hell, that fact put at least two National Title trophies in Saban's trophy case.
