I think that's taking it a bit far. For instance, "Geauuuuuux Tigers!" makes plenty of sense to me. Or, at least I thought it did before today:

When's the last time they used that cheer at LSU?

Only time I've ever heard it was in the movie "Everybody's All American".

Guess I didn't sit close enough to the student section or cheerleaders in the 1980s.

1981 or 1982 is the last time I heard it and it was done by us in Tiger Band.
