..it benefits the Gumps. If LSU wins out, the Gumps lose another game and they need the LSU-Florida game to be played, it will be played.

No, the SEC will just say LSU is eliminated because they only played 7 games, and you have to play 8 to win your division

If the Gumps lose two games including us, and we win out, we would still go to the seccg regardless of a loss to Florida. That would make us both 6-2 with the tiebreaker going to us.
