Our Defense is allowing 24.3 points per game (PPG) this year.
This is a full TD worse than the other 10 years under Miles.

Our Offense vs:
Non-SEC scores 42.0 PPG
SEC East scores 40.0 PPG
SEC West scores 24.0 PPG

If you take out the Auburn game (which looks like an outlier)
SEC West Adj scores 17.0 PPG

We are giving up 24.3 PPG and only score 17.0 PPG - that's a problem.

Ole MIss scores 40.7 PPG but allow 23.0 PPG
However, Arkansas allows 27.9 PPG and we didn't come close to that.

TAMU scores less than our Offense avg 30.8 PPG and allowing 24.0 PPG
vs. the SEC TAMU avg only 21.5 PPG and only 18.8 PPG vs. the SEC West
So, TAMU is a game that LSU should win.

Are you saying we are giving up more points than we are scoring? Didn't know that thanks.

Other than being in the West, how does Ole Miss and Aggy compare to the rest of our schedule?

What is the argument against considering the Arkansas game the outlier? Losing to Bama on the road makes sense, and the Auburn game is much more similar to the rest of the games. Arkansas seems to be the nonsensical, against the norm game, doesn't it?

Realistically, 4 games isn't really a large enough sample size to say definitively.

That said, considering 2012 through today, we have limped through November(s).

This year vs. the SEC West....

Opp - We scored - They give up - Diff
MS State - 21 - 18.6 - +2.4
AUB - 45 - 26.5 - +18.5
BAMA - 16 - 15.3 - +0.7
ARK - 14 - 27.9 - -13.9

Arkansas makes up the bottom of the range and Auburn the top end.
The Auburn differential is larger, but then again, we are talking about a sample size of 4
Which game is more emblematic of how LSU plays in November?
I hope that you are right.
