Hard to imagine we kept them to 7 points. Good thing I don't have to because we did. Consistent pressure on QB while shutting down their run game was the effective strategy defensively.

We play AU and MSU in the back half of the season intead of the front half and we win both those games. This is an entirely different team.

Yea, too bad we already played them and lost.

Nah. We don't beat Auburn on the road bro.

We'd probably beat State. Honestly, the crowd wasn't up for that game. Because our students are stupid and didn't realize how good State was.

The crowd was crunk for Ole Miss, and it obviously helped us.

I think we could beat State right now in Tiger Stadium. Auburn in JHS? Not so much.

Agree but I almost feel like we needed those games early for the learning and progression.

While I might agree that LSU would beat MSU right now, I'd be hard pressed to say LSU would beat Auburn on the road even with the improvements we've seen.

Auburn's only good defensive performance was against LSU. Their defense will cripple them when it really matters.

I'm am a little disappointed in the lack of faith that some of my Tiger brethren have against the war chickens in their house.

The lack of a rotation at DT was our downfall in both of our losses. Although the DL isn't quite where we would like to see them, they have improved enough to hold their own. The rest of the team has also improved and as a whole, this Tiger team can beat anyone.

The best part of it all is that we will pretty much be anb improving team for the next couple of years so the fun is just beginning.

I laugh at a war chicken. It is now time to snap that gump streak and restore the natural order or LSU dominance.

not sure we beat Auburn on the road with 5 tries, but this is the first time in a while I feel like a Miles team has visibly improved down the back stretch of a season. this is usually the time of the year that certain position groups start regressing. and right now each group, maybe sans quarterbacks, is taking large strides towards improvement. it's truly a joy to watch the youth gel together.

The Auburn defense (it's late, sorry) left openings in the middle of the field for Ole Miss to pass to. It didn't matter when they played us because we couldn't get the ball to those spots anyway.

But their defense looked pretty porous.

That "landshark" D is proving to be a bit of a farce

over 250 on the ground in back-to-back weeks. Yeesh.

We pretty much shut down Treadwell and he dominated tonight. Makes me feel good about our chances of slowing down Cooper

That wasn't just on the students. LSU caught them at a bad time...when nobody realized how good they were. They weren't even ranked. Tiger Stadium would be much different if they were coming in next week.

That's what Georgia fans say year in and year out. Let's see how the season plays out first, although I am much more optimistic now than I was a month ago. :)

Fixed it for you. Wallace looked pretty good last night. Sims is good, but your O line is hurting and our D Line will hopefully take advantage of that.

We can't replay the beginning of the season but would certainly play a more competitive game against Auburn today. We beat Alabama we will be among the best teams in the country. If we win out we will make this silly successor to the BCS look bad in the first year. I will take a computer poll over Archie Manning any day.
