FWIW, I'm over this year. This team was never going to be great. We just had a 2 week hit streak. 2012 aggravates me more.

2012's OF would have been a disaster in this ballpark.

I don't think many were thinking Omaha this year, they just gave us some last second hope of making it when we caught fire. We weren't build to make a run we just didn't have the pitching to make a run.

This team had enough talent to get there. We weren't deep, but we had enough pieces.

We had some pieces but that 2 week streak just masked the deficiencies that were there all year long. Out offense was just average and we had very little pitching depth.

I still think our coaches squeezed about as much out of our pitchers as we could this year.

Nola would have gotten us one game in Omaha Poche maybe two but we may have not won another after that.

Note: next year's team is a team build for Omaha. (well to make it to Omaha.)

I watched every cws at rosenblatt as far back as i can remember. Since TDA happen i just watch regionals and super regionals unless LSU is in Omaha.

Well said.

We lost the majority of our team that tied the school record for most wins. 2 of our talented pitchers were out for the season on top of only having 1 concrete weekend starter in NOLA.

There is a big difference between "glass half full" and realist. Nothing wrong with 46 wins and an SEC Title given our circumstances

Well if we had won the first two games Nola would have pitched the next one. But we could have easily lost another 2-1 game like last season even with him on the mound.

first two games sucked, Texas is here because of who they played, UCI is plaing well at the right time. They are both UCLA like teams from last year, great pitching can't hit. Texas one run was because UCI fielder couldn't field a bunt and get a guy out.

looking at the wind right now our swinging for power instead of making good contact would have killed us.
