It was so obvious that they were being beat, that we actually gave up on them at the end, and passed on 2nd and 2 and 3rd and 2, when we just needed a first down to run the clock out. The offense needs an extreme makeover, and it has to start with the offensive line.

Two freshman in there, we'll be darn good on the O-line next year.

This is a LIE because Coach Miles is an Offensive Line Coaching Expert. He PLAYED on the O Line and he knows how to COACH O line.

Coach Miles is the best coach in LSU history and he's the best coach LSU football will ever have.

Let's appreciate this fine man while he's here. No doubt, he will get offers to coach an NFL team soon. You'll be sorry when he's coaching the Bears or maybe the Patriots when Belichick retires.

I completely agree. I think the defense did a great job. It's hard to play 100 downs. The offense couldnt produce

When the defense run blitzes constantly it's very easy to think the OL played poorly. The truth of the matter is that LSU doesn't have the brainpower on offense to counter what the defense was doing.

How about a screen pass or two?

BTW, Rex, I didn't think the Clemson O Line did a good job. Their QB was getting hammered but he kept hitting his receivers anyway.

It's about as much the offensive lines fault as the gameplan/Les Miles/Fatest joke in Louisiana's fault.

The gameplan for the game was garbage, it actually was the same old same old sprinkle in a little more play action and sideways passes. Mett is garbage at making reads as well, one play Hill was pointing out a blitz in the "I" and was screaming it to Mett and no audible was made. End result was a sack.

Please, for the love of God tell me why we threw it on 2nd and 2. Don't give me that, "the line played like shite" crap. Why didn't we run the ball more, you have four horses, ride them.

It really just seems the coaching staff gave about a C effort in game planning and I can't really blame them with the Miles distraction.

Our poor D had to stay on the field for over a hundred plays. The secondary played a descent first half but couldn't finish. I can't really blame them.

If I'm Les Miles I'm waking up in Atlanta right now I'm laughing screaming "I'm Rich Bitch".

Next year COULD be a 2004.

This begs the question.... is the offensive line not in some way the responsibility of some higher authority? Like the Head Coach and the O-line coach? Does the offensive line just show up on its own and play poorly? Isn't poor play and coaching connected in some way? 2 years in a row?
