so. When O said:

"we ran the same plays from different sets"

"we installed a few plays that I liked from USC"

"we broke tendencies by using different personnel groupings"

I assume he knows less about it than you?

It was NOT "exactly" the same. There were wider splits (especially at TE), there were slants that we have not seen, there were 1st down passes from 4 wr sets.

Those plays EXISTED and were in the playbook all along. That offense was NOT "exactly;' the same

ETA: LSU actually had Run-Pass-Options where the QB made the decision at the line. Not looking to the sidelines, calling out a play change, etc.

I'm pretty certain last night was the first time this year we had 4 WR sets. Maybe last year too.

It can be the same offense, just plays we never see.

There were a lot of the same plays. We just ran them out of different formations which made it less predictable allowing easier execution.

It wasnt the first time, BUT it WAS the first time we have done it on a consistent basis. Those running lanes really open up when you stretch the D horizontally across the field

They literally HAVE to say this. To admit otherwise is to admit that maybe they've been wrong a LONG time. And now, the players and coaches are echoing us and they're ignoring them!

And don't you be fooled. These idiots may want us to beat UF, but they are dreading if we clobber UF. Right now, the "but Mizzou sucks" meme is their go to. If it happens again next week, they're gonna be apoplectic.

Execution was much better than it was under Miles and Cameron. I agree with that part, but the threat of the pass was there also which made Missouri back off from completely overloading the box and coming after Etling like they could have done if it was still a Miles offense. Coach O and Ensminger showed them different looks that gave Missouri scares that they would pass. Something you would never see with Miles and Cameron.

In this case, "butt hurt" might be a PC description of "totally retarded".

Like everything here, people believe you're either on one side of the fence or the other. You either think we ran Chip Kelly's offense or you want Miles back and think we are the same. There can't possibly be a stance in the middle.

Def not the same offense.

We ran very few power plays.

Most of the funs were traps and counters. Left multiple cut back lanes, which is not how a power run is designed.

Several one back looks. Not much power I at all.
