The O-Line is handcuffing this offense. It’s not the QB or RBs or WRs.

They were getting dusted by the SLU DL all night long. The playcalling had to change to max protect as to not get Burrow killed. We ran a lot more max protect in the 2nd half because it was the safe call. They need to have a screen game and some true spread concepts to get the ball out of Burrow’s hands quickly or he’ll be dead by the UGA game.

You can utilize a system that compensates for poor OL play.

People cry about the OL EVERY.frickING.YEAR.

Its goddam time people realize we cant run this "pro style" bullshite if the OL cant block as well as Alabama.

LSU's backups should be able to dominate a defensive line like the one SELU trots out there. This may be the worst line LSU has had in quite some time.

Why LSU doesn't run screens to slow down the opposing defenses' pass rush is beyond me. It's just stupid.

Auburn is going to feast on that O line next week. I hope SE has something creative up his sleeve to keep Burrow from getting killed.

Just imagine what it will be like in JH against one of the best front 7s in the country. They’ll need 8 to block 4.

O will never sign off on a true spread concept offense. He doesn’t know what that looks like himself. Nothing is changing until he’s gone.

Completely agree which is why I checked out when Ensminger was hired.

Ensminger is as close to running a spread as he is to landing on the surface of alpha centauri.

We need some shorter routes and more outlets to alleviate pressure and make defenders consider straight rushing in on Burrow. He does have to get rid of the ball quicker too. He will not be able to take hits like that against Auburn.

There were maybe 3-4 plays where the OL didn’t legitimately hold up. One was on a blitz up the middle.
Pass pro wasn’t bad. It was the WR & QB tonight not getting open & holding the ball

Looked like an old Miles offense to me.

Trahore was a turnstile tonight. I can’t think of a single time Burrow had a clean pocket to work from.

He did hold on to a few tonight though. Gotta get the ball out of his hand.

That's because it is similar.

2 tight ends and a fullback is a Miles call back.

Slow, sloppy, conservative is also the Miles calling card.

Yes. We should see two of them back before long.
