The next 30 for 30 is going to be an embarrassment for Joe Alleva

ESPN just showed their next 30 for 30 promo:
Fantastic Lies: The Duke Lacrosse Story
Going to be rough for ole Joe

Yeh it is going to be a bad look. I feel like somehow Joe skated on the whole thing from a media perspective. Will be interesting to see if ESPN shows how much he threw his athletes under the bus

Then the next 30 for 30 will be about the first college team to ever go 15-0, the LSU Tigers football team!

Yea no way he comes out of that looking like anything other than a buffoon...

Miles probably asked some of his ESPN buddies to air it just to thumb his nose at Alleva.

Still can't believe he came out of that unscathed. It's a joke how Duke reacted.

I never understood why we hired him in the first place. What did he bring to the table?

I believe the thinking was that he could help get the basketball program going. But you know...

If they really were his buddies there never would have been a 1/9/2012 debacle. Those bastards actively campaigned for the rematch so their "special sweeties" from the trailer park (AKA Tuscaloosa) could get another shot at "their championship".

It is a fricking embarrassment that LSU hired this POS after what he pulled at Duke when it was time for him to actually earn his stripes as the head of the athletic program. Decision making individuals at our school had to sit down and actually say "this is the type of individual we want leading our athletic program." It goes to show that character doesn't count when it comes to our bottom line.

I read the Newsweek article where the lacrosse coach explained Joe sold him out for a politically correct ruse.

Honestly, if LSU was about to suffer from an incredible national embarrassment, but sacrificing the men's lacrosse team (if we had one) would give us a 10% chance of making it better, who on the Rant wouldn't sign up today?

It should be, but it won't.
