From my brief read - former 5* from Georgia, played at Cal his freshman year, was on the team last year but injured and transferred to UGA last month. NCAA is not enforcing the rule that non graduate transfers must sit out a year. Unbelievable

Bama and UGA have had extra 5 stars fall in their laps this summer meanwhile ours gets his 2 year banhammer upheld for a drug test he passed anyway

can't do anything but laugh

This is awesome. Couldn’t have happened on a better day. The NCAA has no rhyme or reason to their bullshite.

Didn’t he specifically say he went to Cal for the academics? What happened there?

NCAA didn't want to make the player sit out two years in a row and UGA put a lot of pressure on the process.

Was this a “closer to sick parent” type deal?

I'd bet my house you're leaving out some really important facts.

This NCAA-hate/conspiracy theory jibberish on this board is really hard to take.

Blind homerism is a very bad thing.

His mom has cancer and lives in Savannah so he got a waiver to transfer to be closer. I'm sorry if a kid who's mom has cancer makes you so upset.

If the kid wants to transfer no one is stopping him. I just don't get why rules affecting playing time change because of extenuating circumstances.

If one of Fulton's relatives gets cancer will it overrule the NCAA rule that's keeping him from playing as well?

Allowing him to bypass a longstanding rule and play immediately is going to cure her cancer? Please elaborate on how her cancer negates his sitting out a year.

A kid shouldn't be punished by being forced to sit out a year when the reason for his transfer is to be closer to his family for a medical hardship. It's not about curing the cancer, it's about him being closer to his mom while she is dying.

You are truly an empty piece of shite. You have serial killer logic.

frick you.

bro. the point is. if he wants to be closer to her while she is dying he can be without a waiver. why does football playing time have anything to do with it? If it was so important.. he'd actually want to sit out, regardless.
