And in 14 game seasons. Stud.

He was also the lead the NFL in rushing in 1962 which was the only season that Jim Brown did not lead the league in his career

If it weren't for the injury, Domanick would be higher.

Taylor was the only RB to out rush Jim Brown in a season and he did that with Paul Hornung in the backfield with him.

Why Taylor isn't considered the best LSU Tiger of all tIme is beyond me.

He played one year at LSU, right? Hardly worth the mention.

He played two seasons at LSU and became the first player in history to lead the SEC in rushing for two consecutive years.

He was also the first fullback in LSU history to earn All-America honors

So he is worth more than a mention

Having played a bit against Ridley in high school makes this so much more exciting to me

Not to mention the team he plays for. It isn't easy to hold down the starting RB gig for Bill Belichick

Taylor had 19 touchdowns in '62, (14 games).

Ridley needs 45 yds in next game to move into No. 2 position!

Considering the great program LSU has been, this is an extremely unimpressive list. LSU has not had success at RB or QB commensurate with the overall quality of the program - especially QB!

Faulk is amazing because he has 13 seasons in the NFL as a RB. Good blocker, good runner, good receiver!
Faulk had 3,607 career rushing yards and 3,701 career receiving yards. Nice balance.

Jim Taylor had 8,597 career rushing yds.
