The more I think about Les Miles getting a raise, more pissed I become

I've never been a hater of LM, however I don't really love the guy either.
Actually I think of Elmer Fudd when his name comes up.
I want to believe that this offseason he'll have a awakenng and realize what most of us seem to already know concerning this offense.
He recruits well and as far as we know runs a pretty clean program... Which IMO is two out of top 3 musts.
He lacks something with x and o's.
Unfortunately for us Alabama is the measuring stick... And like it or not they are more than likely fixing to win 3 outa last 4 NCG.
I don't get this raise... At end of the day we as fans pay for it.
Last night was embarrassing.
Certainly not raise worthy... Incentive based raises is the only way IMO any coach should get a bump.... You win, you get more money, I mean championships...sec and or NC.
I just don't like the idea that LSU rewarded him financially for his job performance in 2012. Didn't deserve it.
Les is in pretty critical point in his LSU coaching career.
Will be interesting to see how things work out or him by decisions he's goonna make, or not make.

A few weeks ago, I said that only Les Miles could take a preseason #1 team to the Chick-Fil-A bowl and turn that into a $500K per year raise. I didn't understand it then, and I don't now. He was making plenty enough money for the results he's produced.

The timing of the whole deal is just shitty. I'm hoping someone holds Les' feet to the fire over this shite. Not the Peach Bowl, just the overall state of things.

Miles is untouchable now. Too expensive to fire. He holds all the cards. Could go 6-6 next year and get no heat. If we do continue to slide, Alleva should be fired 1st.

Unless the language in the contract has changed with this extension, which I highly doubt, les miles has basically a 100% guaranteed contract. Unless they can show cause to fire him, he is getting every penny that he signed for whether he is the coach at LSU or not.

that is f'n ridiculous. No wonder he blows everything off like its no big deal. He has it made and can coast to 7-8 wins for the next 7 years
