I'm a certified 'nega-tiger', but considering the state of Les' regime and this incoming recruiting class, I don't see why Les would even try to bring in someone else at OC.

Cam is not stupid. He's a highly experienced coach with a strong NFL background. He knows how to coach football. It is generally accepted that Les has a huge fingerprint in his offensive schemes. Cam is also one of Les' best friends. If Les is gonna go down, he's gonna do it his way.

Les has to decide what changes he wants to see in the offense, and from there I'm very confident that Cam can implement them. But make no mistake, any change we see next year will have to be signed and approved by Les.

Bottom line, the state of LSU's offense is not 100% on Cam. It always has been on Les.

So, what you're say is, they shouldn't change anything?

I've never been a micromanage the staff guy, if you're going to keep les then let him do it his way.

Nope. They need to make some serious changes, but the change has to come from the HC. You could bring Sean Payton in for OC but unless Les approves these changes, we'll see the same thing. I don't see a wholesale change coming, but I believe Cam knows how to implement some creativity if he's given the leeway and approval. And who would come here knowing that they might be looking for another job after 2016? Who would want to tie their future to Les Miles' offensive philosophy?

I agree. A few completions here and there and he is not even mentioned.

Not to state the obvious, but with Cam staying, this should be a negatigers wet dream. Offense remains anemic, Miles gets canned and negatigers rejoice in the streets! Win-win!

I'd like to see Cam on the field or at least bring in someone to talk to our quarterbacks after multiple delay of games.

Of course he needs to stay.

I'm not a Miles fan but if you run off Cam after the way the end of the season went, you gotta believe getting an O/C worth half a shite would be an uphill climb.

No matter what side of the Miles fence you're on, I think you have to admit that he's not on the most stable ground right now. That's not exactly a coaching magnet.

Just so I'm clear here. Are you saying the posi-tiger position on this is "Fire Cam"?

You do realize that probably the ONLY reason Cam Cameron was employed by LSU this past year was because of Feliepe Franks, right?

CAM MUST GO

That is stated more clearly than anything Miles has ever said. Those still in denial of this are not in tune with the Les that has been grazing on Tiger Stadium turf for 11 years.

No!! Any fan with a brain knows if Cam and Miles stay together nothing will change. Nothing will change! They are old coaches set in their ways!!! One last time NOTHING WILL CHANGE with Cam and Miles.

Since Les has been here, he's never had full (emphasis on full, he has been given wide birth, no doubt) staff autonomy like that. He was forced to keep Jimbo if he wanted the job. He was forced to move Mallory and Notorious along after they Steele'd our defense. He was forced to deal with Crowton when he went throw the Crowton downward spiral. He should be put to the fire on Cam and BDP again.

That being said, after Les neutered Alleva, I'm not sure he can be forced into doing anything. I'm sure Cam will come back for another year at $1.6 million this time. Can't not give a guy a raise if you are going to extend him.

IT. DOESN'T. MATTER.

It will always be Les' offense. Why is it so hard for people to see this? Do you really think our previous OC's all had toss dive in their playbook?
