My answer to that question involves comparing & contrasting how Miles has handled previous academic-related issues when they've come up with other QB's on this team in the past.

Not sure if you get my drift on that one, but if you do, then you can see how an extreme double standard is now in place yet again in regards to how these kids are treated.

I'm not one to get into the Black Helicopter aspects of discussions regarding LSU Football on public forums, but this one smells a bit to me.

If JJ starts in Oxford, I won't be surprised. Then again, I will be very surprised.

Senior Day cannot get here soon enough. The best thing for ALL involved is to just get past all this and move on. Not before we enjoy the last 4, mind you, LOL!

Yeah, you just invalidated all of your post in this thread as far as I'm concerned.

Fact of the matter is, whine bitch moan and complain about WKU all you want. It doesn't matter at all. If you were to mentally find a single thing to try and make matter from last nights game you would have wasted brain cells. Period.

Also I'd suggest calling the football office, it sounds like we need an "expert" like you on the staff.

Hey filmmarker you can discredit whoever you want here but the film doesnt lie. Teams dont respect JJ's ability to throw the ball downfield and so far only TAMU has paid for that, Look at the tapes they are fine taking the chance on JJ beathing them deep and have oberwhelming been correct excemt the TAMU game

JJ has had 2 long throws but watch the coverages teams dont change the way the defend him after he has hit one of those nor did bama after the Shepard completion simply because they dont believe he can do it consistently so they will risk stopping the run because on a consistent basis JJ wont make them pay. Look at the Defensive alignment before and after JJ hit any of his 3 long passes this year. Just like last year on the rare occasion he did it teams doubted he could do it again and other than TAMU they were right

And guess what? It hasn't mattered a single time.

Alabam in 2010 did not pay for it?

Why did that even piss you off? It's a dumb comment, used by many on this board, and never makes any sense. As if posters on the message board have to have speed dial to Miles' office in order to offer an opinion on the fricking rant.

Cool, man. Thanks for stepping into a thread that's-by your own admission-a waste of your time and telling me all about how I'm wasting my time.

I'm not an expert. I think the fact that I'm having a rational, non-argumenative discussion with someone else in this thread where I'm discussing what I saw & what I think it means from last night is proof of the fact that I freely admit that I am not an expert.

Were I an expert, I wouldn't have questions. I'd have answers. Right?

Again, you seem to be spinning your wheels in neutral here, while telling me I'm doing the same. Why not do us both a favor, and take your shots, make them count, & then just click on by to another thread that interests you.

Either way. No worries.

Starting these PR threads will never end well. People can pick and choose stats to support anything they want, and still no one will be convinced.

Oh beileve me I'm regretting starting it already. Jefferson vs Lee debate is mind numbingly stupid. Certainly when the team is 10-0.

I didn't think his opinion was stupid. I disagreed with parts of it, but I don't think it was stupid bullshite that didn't warrant the guy offering it. There are posters on this board that should absolutely be shut-down on this board. But just noting that I never understand the reply of "if you're so smart why aren't you LSU's head coach." It's like saying nobody is ever allowed to make a comment about LSU football.

You're single-handedly turning this into some personal argument that revolves around YOU, bro. Why is that? This thread is a waste of your time according to you. Yet you're still here bickering? When no one was bickering with you to start?

Oh, and by the way...Love that little section I just quoted from you. You admit that WKU didn't change the coverages and the way they were defending LSU by saying, "It hasn't mattered a single time."

Yet in your initial response to me, you said it was "Not true at all."

You're contradicting yourself, arguing with everyone, and essentially being an a-hole. I say that politely, man.

Just leave the thread be. Ease up & move along. These aren't the Droids you're looking for, Brorschach.

Sure he beat them with one long pass but that did not change the way they were playing him and it is not like he did it again. Good defense and 4th down trickeration where much more important.

Arkansas played him the same way and in th 2nd half almost completely shut down the LSU offense including gehting the ball on the Arky 9 after a blocked punt and having to settle fora a field goal!

My initial reaction is to point out the whole i before e grammar rules, but that's just me being a prick for the sake of being a prick.

(I'm kidding)

Nobody is arguing JJ vs. Lee. Neither of them is the answer. We have to have them both. Its sort've like Jambalaya. You've got to have sausage to make it. If you're going to make it right, in my book.

The folks in this thread-the ones who are on message and actually talking about the subject matter at hand (psst...NOT you, bro)-are interested in talking about how the sausage is made.

You're not interested in it. That's cool. To each their own. But there's no reason that we can't discuss it, just as there's no reason-none at all-why you have to read it if you don't want to.

Yes he did. And Jefferson looked good cheering him on. Some fans on this board could learn from the two of them.

I don't think you'll find anyone who disagrees with what I said. Its clear that LSU with Lee at the helm once we got the season underway became the best offensive unit we've seen since 2007.

Not saying better than 2007, mind you. Just that we're far & away more efficient, explosive, & consistent than at anytime between the 2008-2010.
