The melt from the baseball game today is ridiculous

It's the first week of the season, relax. We lose a game every year where Maneiri experiments with the lineup. If you believe this spells disaster for the season you are foolish. UNO came to play today and they deserve their W

Florida lost tonight. Miss. St. lost tonight. A&M needed twelve innings.

Every season LSU loses some midweek games. It happens. Obviously, UNO doesn't have the talent LSU has but one game doesn't mean doom and gloom.
You play 56 games during the regular season. Win 3/4 and you win 42 games. Win 20 SEC games and you got yourselves a regional and possible Super.
SEC games and Tourney will decide postseason hosting.

Luckily, once SEC play starts Strall won't be called upon to get any valuable outs and neither will Kiel if he doesn't get his control straight, just ask Cole McKay. The most concerning thing about tonight is Reynolds struggling so bad. He does usually start the season slow tho.

It doesn't spell disaster but it was a choke job. Ppl have a right to be upset, there's no reason to give games away. At the same time it's not the end of the world.

UNO beat LSU twice in 1997. We turned out just fine that year.

Guys like Strall, how many innings does he see in meaningful SEC games? Not a lot?
Ok then, not putting much stock into last night.

I've got no problem with the loss per se. I do, however, continue to worry about PM not having the next pitcher ready before things get out of hand. He gets a pass because it's early, but we can't see that in SEC onward.
