shooting night, no real energy, and they lacked intensity tonight. They are the hunted, and they need to learn how to play like they are the hunted. LSU did not match MSU’s intensity tonight just like at Auburn. They will be fine. It was just a bad night. They are human.

They have played only 4 games like that, they are good against cup cake teams.

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better. Expectations for this season needs to be recalculated. Huge achievement if they make the Sweet 16. I don’t see them advancing beyond that.

Arkansas and Alabama on the road were challenges too, yet the Tigers blew them out! Also Ole Miss and the Yankee Tigers

We have 4 players. Thats it. HVL is not a pg, so she will never be effective. We have no bench. This is just not a good mixture of players

They are some tired humans. The grind of the season is wearing them out, would be nice to have one more player off the bench. They are young, they’ll bounce back.

They look exhausted which is a real concern.

They’ve hit a wall. Too many minutes. Too few players. Fatigue setting in.

I questioned HVL’s coming over to play point when she didn’t play point at Louisville. Mulkey made her commitment to play HVL at point and it has not worked. Poa seems to over-try and plays tight. HVL is slow and gets beat very often by faster guards and has not shot well as a result.
We have not seen the All American she was or is supposed to be.
It’s all about getting hot at the right time and see what happens in March Madness.

I know they will be fine. How they handle adversity throughout the regular season will determine how they finish the postseason. They had a bad day imagine that. Even on their worst day, they were still in the game. MSU shot over 50% from both the field and 3pt.

Let’s see what they look like come tournament time. Mulkey will have them ready. The process isn’t always pretty. As a friendly reminder, the SEC is one of the toughest conferences in WBB. Last year, S. Carolina picked the wrong night to have their worst shooting performance of the year at The Final Four. All that talent in Boston’s freshman class and only 1 championship to show for it. Perspective!

Wait did you miss the game before last where they almost a should have beaten the #1 team in the country and lead for 90% of the game.??

Here's the other thing....they got way up for a game against the #1 team in the land and then had to travel to Starkville to play a dangerous team on the road. They played one of their 4-5 best games in a loss against USC (obviously not in the last 2-4 minutes but overall) and just didn't get up for the game in Starkville....a lot has to do with fatigue.

Everyone is making legitimate points. Bottom line is this team doesn’t have a point guard and no depth. Coaching can’t cure that. It is at this point what it is. I do think Mulkey could pull some magic out of this team in a tourney setting.
