The losing of recruits

I'm hearing people say, "don't worry. We have time to get him back."
But IF Jimbo is seriously in the picture as our new HC; could we get FF back with the history of Jimbo and developing QBs should we land Jimbo?
If so, the stakes raise with hiring of JF.

The way I see it, I said this in another thread, Alleva is doing more damage by not saying anything about this entire matter.
Recruits don't know who they're going to play for. "I want to play for Miles. I want to play for Fisher. I want to play for Orgeron." All of these are legitimate questions a kid graduating high school would ask. If I commit to LSU, who will be coaching me? Given the last few days with rumors and such surrounding Miles and Orgeron, Fisher to an extent, any player thinking about coming here would want to know, and deserves to know.
All these kids want to do is play ball for a certain school and/or coach.
And Alleva, from his silence, seems like he couldn't care less. He's not thinking of the good of the program, in my opinion.

I see what you are saying about Aleeva. When a BOS goes on record; as an AD you need to shut that shite down.
But IF it is Jimbo; do you think we can get FF back? I ask this because it raises value with Franks; but Franks has always been one of our greates recruiters, as well.
But kids do want to play for a certain team/coach.

This is always a concern, but the way I look at it this way.
If you get the right head coach and he puts together a good staff, it will be better for the program moving forward. But their very first year's class might not be as good a group as many fans expected.
But after that, we hope the recruits would see that the program is improving and they want to be a part of it.

It certainly couldn't hurt. But that's just my opinion.
Alleva needs to quit screwing around. Not for the fans, I know everyone wants the scoop, but he needs to do it if he cares anything at all about the football program. The longer he allows this to be drawn out, you can expect more recruits to decommit.
Again, just my opinion.

Recruiting will shake back when the new staff is announced guys. Don't freak out just yet. The way I see it is as long as moves are made within a few days after the A&M game then it'll be right on schedule.

It's more about Florida winning FF over than anything else..
As in they went all out and he's not likely to change his mind.. but who knows..

It has everything to do with the direction the program is headed. Nothing to do with Miles on hot seat. So let's see if these highly prized recruits follow him to a new school. 3 losses in a row is why.

I would say that IF we get Jimbo there is a chance we get FF back. Probably a slim chance.
Keep Miles and there is positively no way we get him back.

If I had the option to take any QB, I would take Haskins, Henry, and Patterson over Franks because I think they are more polished. We are going to get an offensive minded coach and we should secure a top QB.

There was a study done over the summer, believe it was ESPN the magazine. The majority of recruits biggest attraction was their position coach. So whatever happens we need a complete staff quickly
