Has he ever come back for a debrief?

If so, that would make me more inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

If he just upped and vanished after stirring pots and breaking hearts, well that kind of says something, too.

I was a Vitter guy from the get-go FWIW. he would've had the stones to pull the trigger on this deal IMO.

Only way your plan works is if the Board of Supervisors does what David Vitter tells them to do, and those are Jindal appointees, not Vitter appointees. Vitter and Jindal no likey each other. So I'm not sure Vitter would have had leverage.

maybe he wouldn't have had the leverage, but he would've had the BALLS. that's all that matters.

What was he "dead on right" about, exactly?

What actually happened that isn't just in the imaginations of the Rant?

Not on the rant, but I'd imagine someone mentioned it already, but as far as trolling goes, there was a guy --'something' Chamberlain if I recall, that told the poliboard that he had inside information that Ohio was in the bag for Romney and that Obama was done. He had a decent sized following also that was left weeping in their cereal.

I was lurking back then...he wasn't a troll, he did have some inside info but was just wrong at the end. here's some of the posts from then:

Is it bad that I had this exact thought after Les was announced as our remaining coach?

I thought "Hmm... Les could still step down on Wednesday..."

When it was announced that Les was staying it felt like my dog just got run over and killed. The story behind it is like if I found out someone left him out thinking the gate was closed.
