Was at this debacle, wanted to kill everybody after but I sensed that something special would happen the following game (Tenn. OT win) that would start the climb up to the mountaintop!

Didn't sense it at the time. But I remember Tennessee writers making fun of our stadium's nickname, because they said only the Tigers die there.

I think it's far less likely that someone else comes in here and does what Saban and Miles did.

These saban nuthuggers seem to have a creative memory when it comes to uab, davey/booty debacle and the best one the freaking iowa game. He gets way too much credit. Dinardo had good players just couldnt coach at sn elite level. If miles got half the bullshite nicky gets at alabama he woulda won 4

all these saban worshippers were too young to realize his learning curve at LSU and the SEC led to some shitty games. and i don't want to hear dinardo left the cupboard bare because that just wasn't the case. dinardo recruited very well. sabans last year of recruiting was a lot worse than dinardo's. saban grew up at LSU and failed in miami. then became the best coach in america when he went to bama. i have always felt that bama had a recruiting advantage and have always felt they bought players. i learned it was true when they were caught a coupla times but i think bear bryant and the bama alumni were rampant with it. just sayin'

I agree here. IMO LSU had just as much talent if not more than Sabans last MSU team had. But What Saban and Emmerick were able to bring to LSU was stability and put us in a position to be a contender every year. Miles has just kept the ball rollin.

In the freaking rain.

We were ranked 8th. UAB was hard to take but nothing like Miami of O.
