Another JJ lover, like Miles. Just give up, passing the trophy to the opponents without fighting when things seem hopeless.

The game should've been closer than what it appeared but the poster who said the o-line was inept hit the nail on the head. It would've taken a very special QB to counter that disgusting Bama pass rush and the poor play by the LSU o-line. The trenches was overrun by red elephants.

He has a lot of chances, despite what you may hear. He will make some bad decisions and get ragged on at times, but as long as he is winning he will be fine.

You really don't get what firing a coach does to a program do you?

This. As I've said before... there's a 10% chance that we would hire a coach better than Miles. There's a 90% chance we would hire a coach WORSE than Miles.

I play the odds... we're keeping Coach Miles!

Good synopsis. Note the subject line with "?" ending so as to bring up the subject matter and not necessarily enforce it. But..... if he pulls something like this again he won't be LSU's coach ever again. You can just about be assured of that. That was my point. Idiot indeed!

13-1 with an SEC Title? I bet he is.

Miles has gotten away with making stupid decisions with a talented team and win. He is not worth $4 million. Imagine what a good coach could do with our talent!!! Will be interesting to see what he does with a talented QB.... And if he continues being an idiot, it will effect recruiting..... It's already starting....

I'm going to go out on a limb and state you don't know WTF you're talking about.

Truth is the talent at the QB position has been bad since the day Matt Flynn played his last game at LSU and Andrew Hatch stepped on the field. The Ryan Perriloux saga and it's effect on the program has been well documented. Blame who you want for no talent at quarterback for the last four years, but it will be refreshing to say the least to finally have NFL caliber talent under center.

OP you are a freaking moron.

You read one thread here that is terrible and you think, "no way someone could be dumber."

Way to prove me wrong OP.

Some of you guys are so god damn spoiled. Do none of you remember the DiNardo years, or many of the decades before that?

Pathetic.

This. People have underestimated the living frick out of the Jefferson situation. I don't think a lot of people were able to take off their purple and gold glasses long enough to realize how much that dude sucked.

People are hilarious. I think JJ is absolutely awful, but when Les is 13-1, no one can really say anything. I am still disgusted about the championship game, but the depth and talent that Les has recruited speaks for itself.

JJ played terribly against UGA and we still blow them out. That was our recipe for victory.

Would you have preferred we didn't make it to the big dance at all rather than be embarrassed the way we were? Not me. Les and the team got us there. It was a terrific season to that point. It ended on a bad note but, dude, don't lose sight of the rest of the year. Mulligan for the COY? Sorry, but I don't agree. Les is our coach as long as he can win as many games as he does each year. We're spoiled by winning, and that's OK. I remember when we were happy to go to Shreveport. I'll take what we got going now. Thank you.

Really? You did a "straw pole" I'm amazed that you can even count to 48. Do you realize that 48% of the state didn't even watch the game. Fortunately for us, as long as Miles is winning games and LSU is selling tickets he's here to stay, regardless what brain dead idiots like you think.

so if he goes 13-0 again but loses in the NC he should be fired? is that considered another "mulligan"?
