was caused, in no particular order, by:

(1) Lack of a leader who could keep them organized;
(2) Not knowing their individual assignments;
(3) Not having as much talent as we want to believe they have;
(4) Inexperience;
(5) Poor preparation by the coaching staff;
(6) Ineffective adjustments by the coaching staff during the second half; and
(7) The DL's inability to create an effective pass rush, which allowed UGA to exploit the persistent state of confusion in our defensive secondary

67,179 posts? Really? For your sake, I hope that's a misprint and that the actual number is tens of thousands less than that.

I agree with your assessment 100%. What a shame that we finally have an offense and now can't play defense. Georgia controlled the line of scrimmage all day. Our front 4 are definitely not as talented as the hype they have been given all season.

The secondary was confused all day. I was there at the game and am not sure if you could see it on TV or not, but after every touchdown Georgia scored (while they were wide open I might add) our DB's would put there hands up in frustration and start pointing to another DB as if they missed and assignment. Very frustrating

On a positive note though, we have an offense that can score with anyone and Mettenberger really looked good wit the exception of a few passes. Hopefully we can get some things fixed defensively and meet Georgia again in Atlanta!
