no. everybody just keeps using it as an excuse.

it took the LSU QB's from 1999-2007 combined to throw 7 pick 6's. Lee has done it all on his own in 3/4 of a season in a part time roll.

J Lee, great things will come if you keep at it. You will be able to look back and laugh at us losers playing on the internet.

The big difference in this situation, asswipe, is that he had ZERO backup. Part time role? He has had to play entire games with NO one else taking a single snap. Those others did not have the PT he has had and they could be pulled out and coached between plays. He has been put in a ridiculous situation. Given that, he still has held his head high with very little support from so called fans.

I give you huge props for staying until the end, but why were you so proud of the fact that you were booing Lee from the forty yard line?

dang it took me a while to find where and y i said that.

my point was that it must have been tuff on Lee to comeback and actually play well in the 4th quater bc people like me were booing him like crazy everytime he stepped onto the field for 3 quaters.

wasnt trying to make it seem like i was proud for doing it

the point of this thread is to say that we are proud of lee for the way he has handled this not to throw out stats and what not

I love the people who knock Lee and want to use this stat.

First off, the interception and run back are, in large part, mutually exclusive events. It's not like he is throwing outs that are intercepted where no one can possibly tackle the person who intercepted the ball.

The pick 6s Lee is throwing are truly a function of luck and serendipity. Notice that I'm not giving him a pass for his INT, but that stat is misleading and doesn't have as much to do with J Lee as you bashers think it does.

JLee is a good stand up kid. I admire his courage.

from the moment Lee said hut i knew he was going to Dickson. the whole stadium did. if that guy didnt pick that and take it to the house he should have been benched. my god i could of jumped the route from the stands!

and when you mug recievers down on out routes you get interception ran back for td's. you dont call that luck. and you cant expect slow o-linemen to tackle DB's and LB's.

you obviously can't read. I wasn't excusing the interception. What I was saying was that it is very difficult to return INTs. It's not like there weren't people in position to make a tackle.

You just want to think you're right because you don't like J Lee. And that is your right...but you are so wrong about this. It's not like, again, there haven't been people in position to make tackles on the picks. That's why the whole pick 6 thing is luck.

Get a clue, pal.

As long as everyone wants to talk stats, anybody notice who's the #4 QB statsitically in the SEC?

1) You don't know anything about the game of football, much less reading defenses

2) How do you know that the receivers aren't telegraphing their routes? Its very easy to blame the QB who is throwing the ball.

I suspect not all 15 INTs are his fault, so cut the kid some slack.

Again, why don't you go play quarterback since you know as much about the position as Bill Walsh.
