Heisman Odds

The below average QB from Michigan has the highest odds. Who has Michigan played? Are his stats even close to JD5?

Even after that miserable night, the little penix has better odds too somehow

There is a huge anti-SEC movement this year. And JD is the one suffering for it.

Yall dont understand this award and get way too worked up over it.
With that said, Jayden will get his shot to win the award in 2 weeks.

If Daniels beats Alabama and Georgia, he will win it. If he doesn’t, he won’t.

Georgia less important. Most heisman voters turn in their ballots before the seccg

McCarthy is a very efficient passer that throws much less than JD does. Outstanding (78%) completion percentage and a 10.6 YPA (JD is 11.0). He’s also undefeated.

JD has more Heisman throws by far and has played much harder defenses. I believe if you sat down and watched every snap for both of them, JD wins it.

It’s all about Bama. Fournette was running away with it and we bombed the Bama game. He never recovered.

Burrow solidified his during the Bama game.

Daniel’s story is still being written but eh Heisman is obviously not won in Sept/Oct.

You might be right, but there are only a handful of games that Saturday. Let’s say Penix has a big game and wins the PAC 12, and LSU loses to UGA..but you may be right, have a big enough game against Alabama, he might could still win it. I’d think he needs to beat both though.

Forget the Georgia game. Means nothing. It’s all on the Alabama game and he also has to dominate A&M and Florida

You check out that Michigan schedule? They have not played anybody.

That apparently means nothing. The only thing that matters is not losing even if it is bad competition.

LSU started the season on national TV with a loss and JD did not shine in that game.
Again against Ole Miss national tv game JD did not score on that last possession, if LSU scores and wins the game in my opinion JD is the front runner right now.

JD has to have a big game against Bama and win and big game against A&M and win also

I agree. If we beat Bama, I believe he will win it. If we win it will be the result of his great play. Our defense will also have to play their best game of the season.
Daniels gives us a chance.

Yes…that’s why I said JD has played a far tougher schedule. It’s a comparative statement based on who both QBs played.

On top of everything else, JD is a top rusher - in the country.

If LSU’s defense had just played at an average level against Fl St and old piss, no one could keep him off the top of the Heisman list no matter how hard they tried.

That said, the same will be true if he continues at this level (and there’s no reason to believe he won’t, barring the unexpected) and LSU wins out…

every year.

Most of the changes that happened from the BCS till today through all the NIL and transfer rule bullshite all has an underlying "end the dominance of the SEC" mission.

It's why the stupid subjective committee exists etc etc

The Heisman is given out to the most popular player on the roster for the national championship frontrunner.

LSU isn't a national championship frontrunner.

What's the controversy?

Idk how any fair minded person can put the Michigan QB in front of JD. The only person you can legitimately put in front of him would be the Washington QB.
