After watching the tape of all 21 of Harris’ throws vs. Wisconsin, it is apparent that Harris and Dupre are not on the same page whatsoever. That is the biggest problem with the passing offense. High throws, over led throws, underthrows, etc. Harris, in 10 throws to Dupre, completed 3 passes and only 1 of those balls was on the mark. Dupre made two plays to get the other balls and the film shows clearly numerous times that Harris was leading Dupre into impossible situations to make catches. For contrast, Harris hit Dural nicely 5 out of 5 times; given two were bubble screens, but still the chemistry looks there on their throws. Harris also went 2/2 to Fournette and 1/1 to DeSean Smith. Harris & Dupre got to get their act together.

Harris is the reason dupre got hurt last season and it will happen again. He throws him into some bad situations.

For me, I was reminded of the two kids on a basketball team who will only pass the ball to each other no matter what...sometimes it works and looks amazing...but usually they just end up looking dumb trying to force a play where there simply isn't one...

I believe your thinking about Dural. Not Dupre. BH seems to favor Dupre though often times when the other receiver is more open.

The passes were not perfect but most should have been caught. If Dupre wants to be a first round pick he needs to come down with 3 or 4 of those passes he dropped.

Watching the throws, there is no denying that this is a big problem. I am hoping it was week 1 jitters but Dupre needs to help his QB out. He needs to be able to win jump balls against a Wisconsin Defensive Back. Period.

If you're going to bash Harris and blame an injury on him, at least get the person who was injured right..

Has anyone seen the documentary on Mitch Mustain that's on Amazon? Well he was describing the differences between practice at Arkansas and SC. Saying basically it was night and day. Said that he was blown away with all the passing drills and time/attention the qbs and wrs were getting out west said back home at arky it was comparable to the special teams drills that they were running in the water boy(my personal paraphrasing). Anyway you get the point. What I'm saying is this is what I believe is going on at LSU and is the reason for the disconnect we see between Harris and the receivers. Les simply does not put as much of an emphasis on the passing game as a whole. And the result is what we have been witnessing for the past decade

Some of you can't see past your bias. These throws were all on the money:

I do agree with you here.

I genuinely wonder what may have happened on this play though. The ball is thrown before he breaks but Dupre doesn't really break like a post and isn't nearly flat enough for a dig route. Could have been a piss poor throw or a miscommunication of some type.

jitters? For a junior QB in his second year starting? Everybody gets nervous, but that's a lousy excuse.
