No question in my mind, but at times it seems that CLM is allergic to passing. Has had one good QB in 10 years.
This fact alone, combined with 21-0, is the main reason that so many LSU Fans and Alums wouldn't mind seeing LM depart for greener pastures with greener grass.

At least the ones that have higher standards of excellence and expectations for the program do.

Don't even need to make many changes on the staff, just the implementation of a more modern and progressive offensive philosophy from the top.

Too much talent at WR in Louisiana and currently on the team that's going to waste. Talent that's not being utilized to the Max.

LSU RB's and WR's with a killer "Drop Back Pocket Passer" that can throw the football, go through progressions and read defenses, would be deadly. We got a glimpse of it with Mett, but it wasn't fully developed.

Harris may or may not have all of that, but it hasn't fully appeared as of yet. May or may not materialize later in the season. Nobody knows yet, but it will have to be fully functional soon, because LSU is not running the football at will against the SEC Meats..........................

Les simply thinks he found a loophole in the system to play more offensive linemen for his stupid fricking mud frick slop offense. I can't stand it.

The hard-core Les disciples will never acknowledge this though. "We can win with LF...this is all we need" ....rinse...repeat as necessary.

Yea...right

This a gem!

So many schools have done better than LSU over the past 15 years. HaHa!

But, LSU should have won at least 5 titles in this time.

How many did Bobby Bowen win with all that talent he had?

I think entirely too much is being made about the passing game. I have seen BH make some really nice throws and I have seen our WR and TE make some nice catches and yards after catch. Many of you will only be happy if we are throwing for 300 per game - that ain't gonna happen and it doesn't need to - not with the stable we have.

I think you have a point, but if even the threat of an occasional completed pass isn't there, then you're going to have a long, long day when some of the more physical & faster SEC defenses stack the box. It doesn't even have to be anything complicated - high percentage throws into the flat, slants, and shallow crosses. Hell I don't know if I've seen Fournette and Guice in the backfield together one time this season. Imagine the matchup nightmare that could present.

There's a good reason no other team even tries to run LSUs offense.

Except 95% of nfl teams.
The prostyle offense is, by far, the most complex offense in all of football. Programs started to run the spread and HUNH so that less talented and less deep teams could even the playing field by not letting deeper teams substitute on the defensive side of the ball.
The pro style offense is the best offense in football when you have a qb that can execute it.
