The Tigers have Florida as a permanent crossover. Since 2000, LSU has played Florida and Georgia a combined 98 times. Alabama has played them a total of nine.
"You tell me, is there some disproportion?" LSU coach Les Miles said.
i'm assuming 98 is a typo, but you get the point.

Expect changes when the SEC office is relocated to Westwego

Really? In 15 seasons, LSU has played FLA/UGA an average of 6.5 times per year?
Or is this in all sports, and some fools can't d math to figure out this is bogus.

Is that right? I count 15 seasons in that time period. I think its fair to say that LSU averaged 13 games per season during those years. That's 195 games. I am pretty sure LSU has not played UF and UGA in more than 50% of its games over the last 15 years.

i'm guessing 18 is the number, wonder how long it will take for them to make the correction?

I counted 24. UF every year in the regular season. UGA 6 times in the regular season and the 2003, 2005, and 2011 SECGC.

how did they think 98 was even possible?

Correction was made.
"The Tigers have Florida as a permanent crossover. In the regular season since 2000, LSU has played Florida and Georgia a combined 19 times. Alabama has played them a total of nine times."

I've got mixed feelings on this issue.
On one hand, it is definitely to LSUs disadvantage to play Florida every year when Alabama gets to play Tennessee and Ole Miss/Miss St get Kentucky and vandy (I think).
On the other hand, I like the rivalry with florida, and (especially recently) they have typically been great, exciting football games.
finally, I think it would be better for LSU not to have to play florida every year, as I think they will be really good more often than they are bad. But, we also come off as a punch of pussies crying about it all the time.
