I must say that I thought we all witnessed a very well played game on both sides. I also think that LSU would destroy UF if you had the chance to play them right now.
Very few turnovers, no cheap shots etc. You can tell that the players have a tremendous amount of respect for each other.
I must say that when BAMA received the safety (dont forget... BAMA had its share of penalties) ..that I was tremendously worried.
Good game and here's to many years of BAMAvsLSU/Miles vs Saban !!

Why did you leave out the Peterson interception part?

should have been more. Plus a turnover

Maybe this makes you feel better about your chances against Florida? Sorry, but Florida is going to kick your arse.

We must have watched different games--the Zebras ruined it and Bama fans cheered each time LSU had a player hurt. Real class venue.

......thanks for the comps, but no we wouldn't.....y'all won yesterday because your coaching staff outcoached ours....plain and simple.....good luck the rest of the season

to you too for a nice post. i disagree about destroying florida though. it took every break in the game and both our qb and our CB that was shutting jones down for ya'll to win. i think florida is better than bama on both sides of the ball. my opinion is based on closely observing all three teams in more than one game. if florida want it as much as ya'll, ya'll will lose.

easy for you to say b/c your coach can consistently out coach Miles. ANd Bama had like 2 penalties so dont even try to start the BS.

Bama had 4 penalties, dude, and held the entire game on damn near every play.

sorry - are you asking my opinion on that? I think that if it had been called an interception on the field, then the booth would have upheld that as well. It was one of those calls where replay was simply going to back up the official on the field. I'm guessing they couldn't decide if he had possession before his left foot hit the chalk. Besides, would it have mattered anyway? with scott and jefferson out, I dont think it would have mattered.
Speaking of the injuries, I am truly sorry and apologize for any 'injury loving' bama fans. However I would look at your own house before casting stones at 'all bama fans' - there are plenty of posters on THIS BOARD that were calling for your O-linemen to take out knees of Cody and others.
I personally hated to see Scott have a serious injury - I love watching him run the ball - but it was not due to a cheap shot - he landed on his shoulder. And Jefferson took a facemask to the chest - also not a cheap shot. Are some of you suggesting otherwise?
Regarding the claim that we 'held on every play' ...technically holding does occur on every play, but the refs only call it if hands get outside of the numbers or if a player is dragged to the ground. Do I think that the refs have a bias for bama? NO! see the safety - a penalty that directly gave points to the opposing team in a crucial situation!
and.. my comment about UF was simply meant as a compliment and an observation that LSU is playing much better football than when you guys lost to them earlier this year. Will BAMA beat them? ...remains to be seen... but dont forget that many said last year that we would 'get killed' and we took them to the wire. It will be interesting, to say the least.
Bottom line - LSU has a great team and played a great game. There are truly 3 teams at the top of the SEC and the rest are far behind right now.

Miles has not been outcoached in any Saban/Miles game. The two losses that came last year were a result of problems with the players not being able to execute.

...and I will admit that I had my doubts about Coach Miles at first, but I have been proven wrong.
I think that injuries were the main issue for LSU during the game. (BTW - I was impressed with Jefferson too.)
Was BAMA just the 'fresher' team after the bye week? Julio definitely looked healthy. (finally)

not suggesting anything... watch the video and decide for yourself... the top of the helmet he hits jj with is called the crown, not "facemask" LINK

It was spearing pure and simple. The ref was right there and ignored it.
You throw a ball that lands 4 feet out of bounds, it's ruled catchable.
We throw a ball that lands 6 yards in forn of a held receiver, it's ruled uncatchable. Ridiculous.
I don't know if with decent calls we could have won the game, I'D JUST LIKE THE CHANCE TO FIND OUT!
