They leave because they know Nick will get them to games like this while Les gets them to Music City Bowl.

The first thing they need to do is get a staff member who can recruit adn develop QBs.

If you were a blue chip player, would you trust Les or Saban more to get you championships?

The defensive scheme we've played over the last 5 yrs requires us to have an 8 man rotation of DLinemen...That has not been the case the last two years...it has exposed us at times..
there are enough threads on QB play...

Our best defensive players this year aren't even from LA. They were from Alabama, miss and Texas.

Is to keep Louisiana talent at home.

easier said than done. The negativity and hate towards our coach and players that surrounds this program certainly doesn't help either.

would Alabama even be here if not for our homegrown stars?

yes

they would have just been replaced with another 5* player from elsewhere

kids are going to leave the state

You should ask Peveto why have the specialist become a shite show under his tutelage. That is one re-hire I refuse to try and understand.

Some of our best players have come from out of state. We need to expand our influence as much as try to lock down in state talent.

that's true. No one can say he doesn't develop his players. He might not get the most out of them on offense, but he does develop them. You could make a case that he develops them better than sabin as saben pulls in much stronger recruiting classes but both put about the same amount of talent into the NFL.

I wanted to post this same thread but didn't want the backlash so much of our backyard talent on their team

Bebe will not beat saban in recruiting. If a kid is uncertain where to go, you think saban will lose to that dude? No way

If people actually listened to the recruits when they say they chose Bama. Like Cam Robinson for instance, he said Bama just outworked LSU in every way.

There was always a phone call/text/tweet from their coaching staff. The Bama coaches went to their games. Ours didnt.

Orgeron is a tireless recruiter just like Saban. Orgeron will not let Saban out recruit him like let's say a Studrawa was being schooled.

Saban also knows how to cut corners. Orgeron does too. We've had some lazy recruiters on the staff for a few years.

Chavis didn't like to recruit. Stud was a bum. Spare me his two recruits he got the past 5 years. He lost big time players in his own state/area he was supposed to recruit. Ron cooper was a camp warrior recruiter who didn't like to travel.

You have to be relentless. I feel Frank Wilson has been doing some heavy lifting by himself when it comes to LA recruiting. Orgeron would definitely help shore that up in a needed way.

Another poster, BilJ, has been harping on this since the hire. I didn't see it at first, but BilJ was right. Disaster.
