While this is an exaggeration, they are capable of beating them.
UAB beat Maryland. And VCU beat penn st.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Mcneese lost their next 3 or won their next 3 after tonight.
They are capable of playing above the level of a southland conference team, though I if I had to pick I would probably guess they drop one to Michigan before they make their conference run. They are clearly the best team in the southland.

Also of note McNeese has 2 top transfers ineligible just like Cook for LSU. Difference is they stacked talent and aren’t using that for an excuse to lose games.

Never saw what he did in the transfer portal. I would say the conference averages about 5 2 or 3 star players through the portal but that is spread out and sometimes requires ncaa ruling.
