The country wants LSU/Bama a second time... how about a third

The Sugar Bowl Committee has a unique opportunity. They can give the country what they want (according to ESPN) and the BCS haters what they want. Best 2 out of 3 is the champion. When the bowl selection takes place, the Sugar Bowl should take LSU / Bama II for the January 1st game. And if Bama so happens to win, the tie breaker can be played a week later. Done. Problem solved.

Problem is that if LSU wins there is no BCSNG and they lose out on millions of dollars.
They will never give up risk that paycheck.

If they are in the BCSCG, I'm pretty sure they can't be selected for another bowl.

instead of that, let Bama and OSU play for the spot using the Sugar bowl... LSU to await the winner.

Ok...if LSU beats Bama in the Sugar Bowl, still play the BCSNCG the following week. If Bama wins that game, LSU still gets the crystal (2-1), and Bama can still claim a National Championship by their standards...problem solved...everyone's happy...

I actually think this would be more fair. Saban is in favor of a +1 game. You guys would have to play Stanford or VaTech though first. Then we could square it off again. I didn't want a rematch if we'd won the first game. I can see why you don't either.
