A lot on here about how we don't play any body . So I thought I would throw some numbers atcha .We cant help that we play in a crappy conference . That's why we schedule 2 Sec teams or 1 and Notre Dame every year.

* In the last 5 years Clemson is 69-4 overall .

* 10-2 vs the sec with both losses coming to Bama in the
playoffs .
Wins over Oklahoma, OSU (twice ), Notre Dame (twice ) .

We have the #1 recruiting class in the country coming in and over 80 freshman and sophmores on scholorship.

I am not saying that they are better than LSU this year. I am saying we have a great program and step up in most big games . This will be the year to get us because of our inexperience on defense and your crazy good offense . We are here to stay and with Bama on the down swing a little bit you might see us again next year in the playoff . Good luck it I hope it's a good game .

You have over 80 freshman and sophomores?

So you have 4 or less juniors or seniors on scholarship?

And you’re about to bring in a recruiting class of 20+, so you’re going to have over 100 scholarship players next year?

This really isn’t necessary.
Everybody knows Clemson has been great for last 5 yrs.
What’s remarkable is the inferiority complex.
This stuff from Dabo about “poor underdog Clemson” is really old.
And the notion that Clemson wins because Jesus wants them to is pretty offensive.
You belong.
Act like it.

Easier to do when those big games are sporadic at best and then a couple of games at the end of the year in the playoffs.

I get your conference is what it is, but at the same time understand what playing 3 top 12 teams in 4 weeks looks like. Different worlds. Because of the easier conference the freshness factor for the playoffs is way higher for you but the sharpness factor for an elite team in an elite conference is higher.

We have already played teams as good and deep as Clemson - Auburn, Alabama (even if they have slipped some), Georgia, Florida. Then throw in beating two of the top teams in the Big 12 in Texas and Oklahoma and I think you can see where the confidence comes from.

We made the #4 team in the country look like they were a MAC school.

Just because you can't help it doesnt mean it isnt true. The schedule was crap this year. It doesnt mean Clemson isnt a great team it just means the criteria they were judged on is much different than LSUs.

Thats more on the NCAA to fix their issues than Clemson so while I won't "blame" Clemson for it, it doesnt meant it shouldn't be said.

We beat the big XII champion so bad in the first half we turned the entire second half into garbage time. What would you have done to them?

Cool. But all of that won't help you this season. Get mentally ready for the beatdown to come.

This year you’re no better than a team like UGA, and they couldn’t run the gauntlet on the weaker side of the SEC.

Valid point Mid Iowa Tiger . It gives us a chance to rest players , test other players , get them experience , play with gameplans . It is way easier for us to get to a playoff and I'm ok with that .

I don’t give a flying frick what Clemson has done in the last five years.

Won’t help them one bit in two weeks.
