Idk if anyone has watched the big cat drills this spring so far, since the majority don't like them. But you have to watch how the wide receivers are getting after it with the new coach getting some intensity under them is exciting to watch.

This is a great watch! LF7 should have some help getting the edge if they block like that all year.

Throughout the Miles era LSU's receiving corps have been ferocious blockers. There are things Miles does well and other things as well but this has been there since day one. Miles' WRs block their way to the NFL.

At least the players/coaches are having fun with it. About the most worthless drill that can be run in football.

It's not totally useless. It's an intensity drill, a bonding drill.

People don't get this. It's just as much about the guys jumping around the sides as it is about the two guys hitting each other. There's a reason they make the team watch an "individual drill"

Year after year after year... People say the same crap, and it's more about taking a shot at miles than the validity of the drill. The fact is, any drill that drives the competitive spirit and builds swag is NOT a worthless drill. The kids love it, the coaches love it, and the media eats it up. So SHUT UP about it already, and just sit back and enjoy the carnage, or shut up and suck your thumb quietly!!! Sheesh!!!!!!

Physicality at the WR position isn't just about blocking. It will help get off of press coverage which has been a big problem the last couple of years and helps fight for position downfield and on fade routes.
