I thought I counted 4? 3 in one inning. Kramer boot, the throwing error missing the cutoff man which the runner advanced (come to think of it this probably isn't ruled an error but a feilders choice), and the wild pitch with runners on 1st in third where the runner advanced to second. Also I think it was Bush that booted a grounder back to the mound that scored a run. I quit watching there for the most part. Off night for what has been one of the better fielding teams I can remember.

The score keeper was generous to us.

Throw from Watson is not an error just a bad decision. Wild pitches are not errors. Peterson booted ball back to mound but got out at first so no error. Can't assume a double play.

He didnt miss the cutoff. Our SS was for some reason running to cover 2nd along with our second baseman who was supppsed to be covering 2nd. Go watch the replay.

It was definitely lack of communication on where Watson should have thrown the ball. If he was told home then the first baseman is the cutoff and he was late getting there.

Good call Little League Dad. How many times in a college baseball game have you ever seen a SS be the relay home on a single to CF? The first baseman is the cutoff home, but he was late to get there. Not that I blame him, the runner was on first when the play started. He was stealing on the pitch so on the single he had third base easily. The centerfielder should have simply made an easy throw to second base to keep the runner at first, but he decided to throw a low throw home to stay well ahead of the lead runner, but the LSU infielders weren't expecting that. You don't normally throw home on a routine single to CF with the runner starting at first base.

I think that it was Peterson who booted the double-play grounder back to the pitcher.

Well, the cutoff in that situation is the 1st basemen and Watson didn't throw it to him either.

He just kind of threw it into no mans land. It was a really uncharacteristic mistake from him.

Kramer had 2 errors, one that led to the second and third one and one late in the game (9th maybe). Caleb was pitching okay until that error. Yes, he had a couple walks but I think the not using several pitchers for weeks came back to bite us.

The team better be more awake and wanting it tomorrow night or they will be headed home quickly. FSU isn't going to roll over and they are the first hurdle before we can face OSU again. Last night was embarrassing in all aspects.

Please add the mental errors. Our 1st baseman failed to move to the mound on 2 plays to center to be the cutoff. Our 1st baseman failed to read the OSU scouting report, botched the 1st pitch bunt. Maybe just tooooo many Catholic High alums in the lineup at 1 time.

Thank you for this. For fans that follow baseball seem to know very little about the game. The center fielders cutoff to home is the first baseman and Watson hit the mound with the ball which is exactly where the first baseman is suppose to be. Go back watch the replay and see where the ball hits.

A wild pitch doesn't score as an error.

Given that there wasnt going to be a play at home under any circumstance, this is all on Watson.

He makes a 50 foot throw to 2, runners at 1 and 3. I guess he freaked out with the runner moving.
