Park in a lot that is protected by security. Also, it is better to go in a car that is devoid of any stickers or anything that would identify you as an Auburn fan. One other thing, make sure your car insurance is up to date, a rental car is advisable and get the insurance, or better yet, like I said, take a bus.

This is funny. I have been to every SEC campus for football and the only place I have ever had any vandalism done to my car was in Auburn.

4) Leave the game as soon as you can and get out of town. Don't event think about sticking around in Baton Rouge unless you are looking for a fight

way from there.
6) Lastly, take a change of clothes. It is hot down there, there is no circulation in that stadium and since they fully enclosed it, it is much worse.

So, it is much hotter than when the horseshoe was enclosed in 1953

Thread as a whole is hilarious, but I lost it at the comment about urine soaked Nerf footballs. Are you fricking kidding me?

Talking road trips with SEC fans is like talking parental advice on the OT....you don't actually have to have any experience whatsoever to be an expert

Auburn folk really are lame. Worse than the ole miss fratters

Maybe the most boring fanbase in the SEC outside of vandy

THIS. Not to me personally...but I have a friend who has had the same experience. And I don't find their tailgaters to be terribly hospitable either. The Gumps are way warmer and friendlier.

For some reason Auburn has an unusual amount of cancer patients in their fan base. It seems like everyone of our piss balloons hits someone that is four weeks into chemo.

It's like a moth to a flame.

Conceal carry. Be sure your Alabama Pistol License is up to date as LA is a reciprocity state and will honor it. But you have to lock your weapon in the trunk of your car so you are vulnerable walking into or out of the stadium.

WOW...although once away from the stadium and elsewhere around baton rouge i couldn't agree more.

I remember the 2008 game played there. A lot of cars had their tires slashed and they wanted to blame LSU fans...until police arrested locals.

And there goes my work day hahahaha I cant stop reading this! These Auburn fans talk like we murdered their father in front of them while forcing them to watch when they were children. They scurred!

I just wanted to stop by and apologize for my Auburn Brethren for they know not what they speak of. I would be willing to bet that 99% of the people posting have never been to a game in TS or been to Baton Rouge. This will be the 10th time going to our game in TS and have nothing but good things to say about it. Some people need to get out more.

Cat, I don't take any of that very seriously, it just makes for fun reading. It's like the LSU fans and corndogs thing. I can't say that I got what they found funny about it but we just decided screw it, let's play along with it.

Truth be told, a vast majority of Auburn fans that I've encountered in real life are good folks. Hope that you have another great trip this weekend (outside of the final score, of course.)

as Bluto would say, "Holy shite-tah!"

I really can't decide which is funnier or more illuminating about the abject pussies that live in the state of alabama.....that thread or the "crying fratboy" from the '11 bama game.

"Dem bama/aubie fans, they got no BACKBONE."

wow....just frickn' wow.

get better, get ready...get even.

I'm a little surprised at that thread. I had no idea Auburn fans felt that way. Every time Auburn came to town when I went to the game, we ended up partying with random Auburn fans.

Funny stuff, regardless. I did know that they still find the corndog thing hilarious and still think it makes us mad.

At what point will we start seeing opposing fans saying things like "my friends went there 2 years ago and they were all murdered in Tiger Stadium by packs of LSU fans!!!"

It's already fricking ridiculous. If you have small kids, don't bring them!!! LSU fans will steal them and sell them into child slavery!!!!

LSU, as I'm sure every other school does as well, has some piss poor fans.

SO is Tulane graduate and said after LSU beat Tulane, which was by 50 points or so, some guy got in her face and was yelling at her. Sure, not a real horror story, but a grown man in a 19 yr old girls face over that, its kind of ridiculous.

Sure most is exaggerated, but LSU does have some undesirable fans, and gives us an undesirable reputation.

My favorite Lsu/auburn story is of the guy that squat shite on the hood of an auburn fans car with the wife and kids in it.
