Nice publicity for the Tigers, however, stating that Blakeney is "Fairly athletic" is akin to stating that the Beatles were a decent band. Blakeney is not only a great athlete, he may be the best basketball athlete in the SEC this season. He has crazy physical skills.

I think the "fairly athletic" comment was a joke about how athletic he is. That's how I took it at least.
He put him as the 18th best player in college basketball next year...

Clearly you guys did not click the link. "Fairly Athletic" had a hyperlink to Blakeney's senior year mixtape. So the writer was saying he was unreal athletically

Was just about to post this. The author was being cheeky. He's using it as an understatement for effect, because that sentence links to his crazy youtube mix.
