5 of our 8 losses in 2014 and 2015 were by two TDs or more. In 2008 3 of his 5 losses were by 2 TDs or more.

You go out of your way to make sense of the jibberish that Miles spews. You may be right but perception is reality and most people's perception of Miles is that he has no idea what he's talking about.

By losing to a shitty Auburn team who couldn't score a touchdown with our supposedly uber-talented and experienced team that was supposed to make a run?

He's gotta be trolling, or he could just be a dumbass.

Mark it, this appears to be an accurate post.

He was in about every single game to the end throughout his tenure at LSU.

that's a huge oversimplification. most games were close, even our wins. that's much more descriptive.

and you seem to forget about November of last year; we certainly weren't in those games; how about 1/9/12? not close. we didn't even cross the fifty yard line.

by any measure and any objectivity Les Miles was a damn good coach from '05 thru '11. he had some bad years in there but 2 SEC titles, and 2 natty appearances are outstanding results. the problem is that all changed. even '13 was tainted with a sub par defense.

LSU HAS NOT COMPETED FOR THE SEC TITLE SINCE 2011. that says it all.

His next job is probably not going to be coming very fast, and if it does it's going to be a BIG step down.

I wouldn't be so sure... Baylor would be a good place for him, and he'd probably keep them pretty competitive considering he can recruit and it's in the middle of Texas. Also, I've seen Penn State fans saying they really want Les. Not sure he'd want to coach against Michigan on a regular basis, though. I don't see him landing a Texas or USC job, but it's all about timing, and the right job might open up for him this year.
