TTU is second to last in defense for 2015 - # 126th!!!

NCAA stats - Texas Tech Total Defense = 126th

We should smoke them. It should be a good recruiting game in Houston.

Unless we somehow let them keep it close, or even more remotely lose the game, it will be 100% meaningless in terms of seeing how Miles adjusts or does not adjust.

They are also number two in the country in passing. 389.7 yards per game.

I'm getting down voted on an lsu board for saying Leonard is going to have a great game against a terrible defense. Wow

You really think that's why you're being downvoted?

I think a handful of posters have conditioned themselves to downvote you without actually reading what you post.

I'm beginning to realize it. I've posted straight numbers before and got down votes. Not sure how someone disagrees with statistics

How's their run game? I believe they have a dual threat, but not sure about their runningback. If they are a pass only team, it could be like playing Western Kentucky/ Texas A&M over again.

Our DBs are learning in Steele's system still and should be able to stop/slow down their passing attack significantly. Dline can also have a big game.

To be fair, I think their defense will probably be better in a game where the opposing offense has fewer possessions than the Baylors of the world.

We should still win though if our preparation is anywhere near where it should be.

Texas rbs ran for 400+yds on about 50 attempts and the qb had about 50 yards passing in the 45-48 loss. Miles will enjoy watching that tape.

Didn't they play them a week after losing to Toledo?

lol, like that matters. They went on the road and beat Arky by double digits.

Tech averages over 200 rushing yards per game and nearly 400 passing yards per game. They are #2 in scoring at 46+ per game.

They've been blown out in games before, but that was because teams had a passing game.

This will be a close high scoring game.

Actually they have been giving up a ton of points and a TON of yards on the ground.

Baylor had 368, Oklahomah 400, Texas had 403, West Virginia has 300 yards rushing.

They haven't seen a real defense.

Big 12 Defensive Rankings

1. Oklahoma - 31
2. WVU - 55
3. Baylor- 59
4. TCU- 66
5. OSU- 95
6. Kansas State- 100
7. Texas- 107
8. Iowa State- 108
9 Texas Tech- 126
10- Kansas - 126

The Big 12 doesn't play football they run track meets.

Considering the average IQ of the poster on this board, I'd take it as a complement. The Miles situation was the catalyst that irreversibly turned the average rantard into a full retard.

Nope, I think they are giving down votes to your personally because they are tired of your endless PRO Miles post, constantly. Have a down vote. That's all....

Here we go again. We were suppose to smoke Notre Dame, Clemson and Penn State. I would just like to win a bowl game.
