The truth is that a small, but vocal, portion of our fan base is to blame for this mess.

Lol I don't but the problem is they're 100% right to do it. And don't say you don't care what anyone thinks of you because anyone who posts on a msg board does tough guy.

That, and the fact that we hired Ed Orgeron.

My truths:
• If LSU, as a University, is serious about contending at the highest level of college football on a regular basis, you don't hire Ed Orgeron as your head coach.
• If you are not going to start Brennan in what will clearly be a down (deeply), you need to at least start getting him some meaningful snaps in games. Etling is, at best, a mediocre band aid to the future.
• This team has got to focus on recruiting more offensive (quality) lineman. Our fascination with the DB position and this DBU moniker is crap. While considered a speed conference, you win on the line of scrimmage in this conference.

The 30 point loss to Moo State provides chuckles to others as well.

LSU was really sloppy - I blame O and the Staff

I do.

This football program has been in turmoil since the championship game against Alabama.
- Blame Miles for never being able to properly and truthfully explain that debacle to the fans
- Shame on him for sending the program on this decline and dividing the fan base
- Shame on the players who fail to maintain their playing status and wasting scholarships because of drugs, crimes and academics
- Blame the coaches that recruited those players that failed to identify the character that led to that behavior
- Blame the coaches for failing to develop players and failing to devise schemes that make the players successful
- Shame on the administration and athletic department for failing to handle coaching issues/searches with class and due diligence
- Blame the administration for the outrageous financial obligations to coaches
- Blame the media and the staff for overhyping expectations
- Shame on the fans for believing the hype
- Shame on the fans for leaving the stadium empty at home games in the 4th quarter
- Shame on the message board fans for using stats like NFL rosters with LSU players to rationalize our perceived elite status to fans of other teams
There's plenty of blame and shame to go around. If we're telling the truth, we've all played our part in getting us where we are and the way we're feeling after this loss.
Doesn't mean there haven't been great moments either. Players who have sacrificed and represented the university with class, who have done outstanding humanitarian work in the face of tragedy and injustices. Fans who have traveled to enemy territory to support the team and those that stay to the bitter end in a 37-7 blowout loss.
Could it get worse this year and through the next few years? Yes, and perhaps it needs to before significant and correct changes need to be made. Then again, maybe this team will shock us all and recover from a loss that habitually derails the only expectation of every season.

Maybe Ensminger should have some input on offense. I realize the O line has to be able to block but you can force a square peg into a round hole. You have to find something that works. The motion and smoke/mirrors only works with great protection up front.

The ANTIFOs believe that Miles left O a Ferrari when he actually left him a Corolla. They'll never admit this because their mission has been to bash O from the get go. He brought in the number 7 recruiting class in a transition year they say he had a bad class he has the most commits for next year but if you listen to them his class will be in the 30s next season. They're idiots they're Miles worshipers not LSU fans.

I love our coaching staff but this team was not ready to play Saturday night.
We got beat in every phase of the game from pre game till we got back on the plane.

We looked bad in all phases on offense. We looked bad in all phases on defense. Coach O had the brook trout look. Alleva fricked up bad.
Matt Canada's offense is just a Cam Cameron offense with pre-snap shifts and motions. The running game has gotten worse, and the passing game is barely improved.

In the combined 20 seasons that Miles and CPM didn't win nattys the narrative was "our fan base are spoiled children". Now that it's coach O losing a game the Narrative is fire him. Lol the only thing worse than our performance Saturday is our fanbase.

My truths.
I'm disappointed, I bought into the hype. Believed success could be transferred in via coordinators. We all got ahead of ourselves.
After the depressing anger, I now think we need to look forward. 8-4 and 9-3 would be a decent season, then the current staff can be judged next season.
In two weeks we should be 4-1 with more reps and learnings and will hopefully be ready for a tough stretch. But the best lessons are learned through failure. We'll get better.
Also, it's disheartening to see such poor support and a fan Base where a large portion wants failure. We live being called the best fans in all these lists etc, however at the moment the support is shite
I'm still in
Geaux Tigers

What game did Miles lose that you'd say is comparable to this one?
Consider the opponent before answering.
