This defense is one of the best and most exciting I've seen at LSU, at least in awhile aside from 2011.

Keeping Aranda here is a must. Pay him whatever he demands.

what a recruiting blunder to let Shea Patterson's brother go as we were all in for Franks instead of trying to lock up Patterson by keeping his brother on staff!!!

Dwayne Thomas's growth as a defensive player has been amazing from last year to this year. After seeing him get beat on several open field matchups last year, I admit I wrote him off as non-elite.

What Aranda has been able to do with Thomas, Riley, and Beckwith (in pass coverage) in one year has been stunning.

This is the kind of coach I want in a head coach. One that can develop players and assistants and doesn't have to depend on others.

D.Thomas has played better the last two weeks than the rest of his time at LSU.

Duke Riley's season has been a huge surprise.

OL is very average this year (yes we ran all over Arkansas)

Truth, but the coaching in the Spring and preseason is much more the reason. Les was so afraid of making a mistake on pass plays that his entire offense was predicated of do not throw unless the receiver had at least two steps on the defender. Plus this offense is much more predicated on the run. The O-line is overall built for the run and coached that way

I used store bought roux and it tasted just as good if not better than making it from scratch

Not really. He was a five star recruit and the number two running back in the country coming out of high school.

Very possible.

Duke Reilly may get drafted

Arden Key continues to get held a lot

Tre White should retire from returning punts.

Desean Smith should have had career game versus Arkansas's linebackers.

Uhh...2011?

To O's credit, this is only the second time I've felt like we've dominated Arkansas.

Short passes to Fournette/Guice should be a staple of our game plan.

People want O to be worse than he actually is because they're scared. It's understandable.

Does not matter who we have running the ball. When you play teams like Bama they are good enough to expose your weakness which is QB play. Guice with more carries might of had a more yards but not much more than what Leonard Had. But I do agree he has better vision and is shiftier than LF. I might be more excited about him next year than any running back we have had in the past 10 years. He is one helluva player and exciting to watch. I think Leonard is more suited for the NFL and will do very well.
This might be heresy on this board, but Guice might have the better career, based on what we've seen.

Fournette is not going to see defenses like Ole Miss in the NFL; the Alabama defense will be a lot more like it. He's going to have to settle for 4 yd gains a lot more.

Record offensive performance in every game under O except Bama with basically the same scheme.

Foley chickened out of original game.

Our guys are playing a lot fresher this time of year compared to years past. I think less physical practices are paying dividends
