Ok, I'll play this game with you. Our defensive line will dominate against the shitty OL y'all have.
Our LBs are everywhere. Kelvin Shep is one of the best in the country. Baker and Francois are getting better every game. Baker in particular is a beast. He's around the ball every play.
Our DEs are faster than we've ever had, and since you apparenty pass more now is awesome for us.
Now theres our secondary.....nuff said. lockdown, physical.
Offense will run through the weak line you have all day. Shep will score 2 tds on you.

ok, not sure what you're after. we will beat wv because we have a better running game, better receivers, a better defense and we're playing at home on a saturday night. our team speed is better and so is our size. we are used to playing in the sec where tough games come every week. lastly, west virgin will lose because of the reciprocal of above points AND your young qb and other players will be intimidated with the crowd noise and the will really be intimidated with the way our defense hits. now, why don't you tell us why you think ya'll will win; you're first post didn't hack it.

That is why they are favored. Why they are not favored by more?
poor coaching. their offense has been stagnant for well over 2 years. and they are not nearly as tough physically or mentally as they have been in the past.
And they can be run on between the tackles. Should WVU decide to go that rout, LSU may have trouble stopping it, while also worrying about the pass. WVU is not one dimensional on offense,
but can throw, run wide, or line up in a power I and come straight ahead
all BS aside, quality post.
the main problem WVU will have is the oline......regardless of dimensions, those kids are vital to pull anything off and they are weak.

This group has produced 11 sacks and would have had a lot more added to that this past weekend but the QB threw the ball up for grabs while getting hit on 5 of his INTS.

You want reasons? I'll give you reasons.
1. LSU's O-line is improving each week. Only three sacks allowed through 3 games (none last week if I recall) and getting stronger running the ball.
2. Russell Shepherd. Had an off-game v. MooU. I think he goes off this week.
3. DeAngelo Peterson. You haven't seen him this year because he's been nursing a broken foot and we didn't need him the 1st 3 weeks. We don't need him this week either, but he needs to get into game shape for Florida. He's a TE with WR speed (used to be a WR). Severe matchup problem. Will own the middle of the field.
4. Josh Jasper. Big, accurate leg. His miss v. UNC may be the only miss all year. Also is our pooch-punter and is amazing at that.
5. Drake Nevis. You will have nightmares for the next two weeks replaying in your head the dozens of time #92 terrorizes your backfield.
6. LSU's DEs. Once you get behind and start having to pass, Sam Montgomery, Kendrick Adams and Barkevious Mingo will be on your QB like stink on a dead goat. Mingo is a former sprinter, that's right sprinter, in HS. He's a little light for a DE, but once he gets off his blocker, your QB is toast.
7. Kelvin Sheppard. Man on a mission. Leader of the defense. You haven't thought of a play that will fool him. 3-year starter and one helluva great American.
8. Patrick Peterson. Go ahead throw his way. I dare you. MooU threw his way twice. Once it got INT'd. The other time they got five yards and no YAC. You will not last long throwing against PP. Nor will you stay in the game long if you kick to him. You're better off kicking it straight out of bounds on your one or two kickoffs and give us the ball at the 40. Seriously. At least then you would have a chance to hold us to a field goal.
Hell, I could go on, but my hand's cramping.

Yes Yes and yes. Devine is a speed back and LSU has one of the fastest defenses in the country. Our dbs will be more than able to cover anything and if running up the middle will be the way to go im sure Baker,Sheppard and Nevis will have something to say.
The only way we lose this game is if we give it away by turnovers. If we are talking X's and O's, LSU dominates.

We have elite speed all over our defense. We see speed like WVU week in and week out. We have two DE's that run the forty in the same time as our starting RB.

Actually I called a WVU win in the game months ago on the WVU Scout board.
I see it this way...
WVU is better at QB, RB, WR, TE...Defensively DL about the same, edge rushers WVU advantage LB's LSU advantage DB's WVU's safetys are better your corners are better.
Kicker- I'll take WVU's over yours and punter it's a tie.
Now we are playing at LSU... that's a problem for us.
Those are some of my early thoughts. And yours?
