Personally, I cannot see it so I’m asking for other viewpoints.

We’ve rag dolled twoTop 5 opponents in a row...on the road.
I watched Clemson play Saturday night...

TIA

LSU misses the bus and shows up with 1 minute in the 4th Q. Clemson wins 10-7

Well IF and it’s a big IF they can bring pressure (and they will) AND get to Burrow (not sure they can) they can keep it close.

IF the OL stifles the blitzes and Burrow makes them pay for selling out to come after him it will be a long day for Clemson.

To me they have to blitz a ton to have a chance. Sitting in a zone, dropping 7 or 8, trying to go 1 on 1 with us none of that has worked. It’s pressure Burrow or they are dead.

because they have a championship coach and a championship QB. i think LSU wins too but lets not fool ourselves in thinking Clemson will be a pushover. this will be a battle. they have what we want. they want to prove they are top team in college football right now by winning back to back and 3 out of 5. this will be good game.

If they can hold LSU to field goals and not touchdowns in the red zone. Auburn was very successful doing this to tReal Tigers, and Clemson just did that to OSU.

I feel like Clemson is veteran when it comes to title games as of late. They have proven to have top notch coaches. I think we win the game, I just still don’t know how good clemson actually is. I think it will be a lot harder to stop them than it was to stop OU. They aren’t as one dimensional as OU. They have 2 great receivers, a great RB, QB, and OL that doesn’t allow many sacks, I feel like this game comes down to having our defense ball out, having Divinty will definitely help and we have been gelling for sure! Geaux Tigers!

Lawrence throws darts on those short routes across the middle. We have been susceptible to that in the past.

If they can be as effective as Auburn was defensively they have the offense to score points.

They will try to turn the ball over by being aggressive on D. They will be jumping routes early.

Their game plan will be to try to get a fast start. Just like they did against Bama. Not saying it will happen but Clemsons a really good football team.

You watched them play what at times was described as the best team Ohio State ever fielded. You watched them beat that team. Granted, Clemson got its share of breaks. But they won, as they have 29 straight times.

They shut down Bama's offense last year in an unexpected way. They have first round NFL talent all over the place.

I think we will win by >1TD, but there are a litany of ways the game ends closer.

Because they are good? I think we win but anything can happen when two teams with NFL talent on both sides of the field line up against each other. This is especially true when each team has a first round draft pick under center.

Time of possession plus winning the turnover battle. That Vandy first quarter was something that had me nervous going into every game afterwards, was it a one time fluke? Possibly, but if the offense doesn't have the ball we can't do what sets us apart from everyone else, putting up 48+pts a game

The only problem with that is Burrow can and will burn you bad when you blitz

The only possible way is one or combo of the following:

Joe Borrow finally has a day off
Our OL cannot pick up there exotic blitz and gets to Joe often
Our Defense cannot make any stops
we lose the turnover margin

Let's be honest with ourselves here. The last three games we played, there were receivers open and the qbs couldn't make the ,somewhat routine, throws.

Our d has been playing much better, but we have also turned some receivers loose here and there, they just couldn't make the throws.

I wish i would have watched Clemsons oline closer,im not sure how good or bad they are. If we can get pressure on there qb without having to blitz, everybody not on a reciever , we will win. Chaisson is coming on strong now

Edge containment on defense. Etienne getting outside. Lawrence hitting receivers in stride. You don’t have the success they’ve had without being good.

Their QB extends plays and makes plays with his legs just like Burrow. They have a great running back and good receivers but I still think the LSU Offense will be too much for them in the long run. It will be close for a while but LSU will pull away and we win by 10 - 14 points.-
