In 2009 Bama beat Tennessee 12-10. The Bama offense did not score a TD. And Bama had to block TWO field goals, one with no time left on the clock, to get the win.

I demand Bama return their BCS Title, c/o Mr. Earl.

With all the preseason high rankings, if LSU doesn't win the NC, people will want him gone. With this schedule, 2 losses isn't out of the question.

You mean " with this schedule, 4 losses isn't out if the question" ?

Last year Auburn almost lost to Miss St, Clemson, South Carolina(1st game), Kentucky, Alabama, and maybe one or two others teams. So by their logic Auburn should have been 8-5. Yet LSU has a few nail bitters and everybody calls us over-rated. Isn't it supposed to be a good thing that a team can prevail in the end? No matter what happens during the game, or after.

The Tigers still have to prove they can throw the ball, there isn't any one area that's appreciably better than Alabama,

Man I say frick Bama! Scout writers better go look at the rush stats from the Bama game last year. Watch the replay of the game and you will see that LSU kicked their asses in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Here's a newsflash Scout: LSU does not take a back seat to Bama with or without Saban. We played them toe to toe the previous 2 years even with no QB. Last year JJ stuck it in their arse.

When LSU beats Bama this year (and they will) you will see the toothless nation implode. Les will lead the series against Saban despite the fact most games were played in Terdtown. 2012 is in Baton Rouge and Terdnation will be under Saban's skin. It will be sweet to watch them turn on fearless leader.

and if it didn't hang on in two of those games, the final regular season record would've been a pedestrian 8-4 instead of 10-2.

you can say that about a lot of teams (if this and if that).

If we can't consistanly get the ball to our receivers we will see another Offense ranked in the top 110.

this is one of the toughest schedules I have seen lsu play. the scout report is a little unfair.

Put it into context. The way I read it, the expectations at LSU are BCS title this year and due to how difficult the schedule is this year they think you will come up short which will be a dissapointment compared to the expectations.

Again, when the goal is the national title, or at least the SEC title, anything less will be a major downer.

That's ridiculous.

Obviously the goal is a NC. But, there isn't a team in the nation who has better than a 1 in 5 chance at winning it...and LSU would probably be closer to a 1 in 10 chance.

Would you consider 14-10 the last 3 regular SEC seasons anything special? We also have no West Titles the last 3 years as well. Despite winning 11 games last year we still finished 3rd in a 6 team division. The SEC West is maybe the toughest division of the toughest conference in college football. We don't have much to show in the way of titles recently.
