i think that in the super, if we win the opening game, i would probably throw ross in game two, and then have coleman match up against their number three
that's assuming LSU wouldn't throw Coleman in game 1, which would be a possibility depending on who they are playing.

I'd love to play Texas and their 27 HR's, .287 BA. I like our chances with Ranaudo and Coleman against that

well obviously we don't stand a chance against UT, brah.

none of their pitchers have dominant strike out totals. I wouldnt be too worried. They have to make a SR to start off with

LSU matches up very well with Texas. I dont think this is a concern with AR and LC going 1-2. Big 12 has ALWAYS been a big time pitching league so don't let the awesome pitching numbers fool you. I dont think they would put those kind of numbers up in the SEC (FWIW I think their hitting numbers would be better in the SEC also)
I can say this without P&G glasses on. LSU is the best team in the nation and it's time to celebrate like it's 2000. The biggest threats will be Arizona State (Mike Leake is a super stud), North Carolina (obviously) Rice and CSF. All of which LSU can beat.

I understand San Diego State has a 1st round draft pick pitcher that throws over 100mph. Don't want to meet him in an elimination game.

Yeah but after Strasburg they are trash. He is CARRYING that whole team. But you are right, you almost have to conciede a game to them with him on the bump.

SDSU isn't a bad team. I wouldn't like them in our reginal. Luckily they are not bringing SDSU down to the bayou for a regional... Too far.

I don't want to see any SEC team in a super. I think the NCAA tries to not pit conference vs conference in supers, but based on #1 seeds. So it could be possible for LSU to be pitted against a regional in the East where Vandy or South Carolina comes out of it as a #2 or something. I wouldn't want to see that. And just in general I hate to see SEC vs SEC in supers. I'd like to see the conference get 4 or 5 teams in Omaha.

Facing San Diego St. with Stephen Strasburg would be tricky in any format.
