Patterson is a less verison of Ulis but I'm going to say that its going to be a dog fight between those two when Patterson's in. And im worried about lyles because TQ will have to guard him. Their length is going to be hard to stop.

And also let's see if okie st would loan us hickey for this game. Hickey always played well against UK.

Kentucky must have shot 40 free throws last night. If we get fouls called on us like Missouri did we have no shot. No front court depth.

I know it's Kentucky so they'll probably get the calls, but LSU is 3rd nationally in blocks to fouls ratio.

Of course UK is number 1...

Things that need to happen for LSU to win:
- Our bigs don't get into foul trouble
- All our players, play a great game
- UK has an off night (or at least not a great one)
- The Refs don't call a tight game or one sided game
- UK doesn't take the crowd out of the game early

All of this is possible.

Just gotta make sure we take care of business against Mississippi State, Auburn, and Alabama.

This right here. While a win against Kentucky would be awesome a loss to any of those teams would suck tremendously. I'd rather win everything else that's winnable (being pretty much every other game on our schedule), (and yes I know that's almost an impossible scenario), and beat Kentucky in the big dance on the way to the NC.

Go Tigers!

Forget UK. We need to beat State on Saturday afternoon.

. With the way this teams been playing it could very well be a nail biter! No guarantees of victory by any means.

Host asks Shane Battier who has the best chance to beat UK down the stretch LSU, UF, or UGA. Battier said UF because they raise their level of play at home. If you say so Shane.

Horrible matchup for us. K will dump it down low every possession we will foul are get dunked on. Their strength against our weakness . I'll def be there but not expecting much. Hope I'm wrong

I totally agree. Malone is going to foul out in exactly 5 Kentucky possessions. I wish we were giving Odo 10 minutes a game because he plays better 1 on 1 post defense than anyone else on the team. His switching is total crap, so we can't play him for too long at a time or he will get eaten alive. Let's hope Calipari is not paying attention again this season. Maybe the fans will get in his head again.

Their bigs strength isn't their post games. Cauley-Stein and Johnson aren't exactly Boogie Cousins down there and Towns does his damage away from the basket.

If you watched the Mizzou game Calapari said before game that he wanted Towns and Johnson to dominate inside of 5 feet all night. They got it to them every half court set and they both did as he told them to. 40 fts don't come from shooting jumpers. He knows how to attack us and win comfortably I suspect that's what will happen .

Towns, Cauley-Stein, and Johnson had 15 attempts combined. They obviously aren't going pass it around the perimeter all game but those 3 aren't gonna destroy us in the post with their offensive game unless we give up a ton of putbacks. They're 5th, 6th, and 7th in FGA on the team.
