Did Stevens enroll early?, can't remember.
I ask cause seems Delpit and Harris have more buzz after the Spring than Stevens.
Also remember Stevens playing some WR in all star game(s). Wonder if this is a possibility?

At almost 6'4 230 Phillips will be a monster on the inside!

Yes. Early enrollees.

5-star safety JaCoby Stevens
4-star safety Grant Delpit,
4-star dual-threat quarterback Lowell Narcisse,
4-star offensive tackle Austin Deculus,
4-star wide receiver Mannie Netherly
3-star defensive end Justin Thomas.

He did. Delpit seemed to be the star of the early enrollees, but Stevens is the best athlete in this class. We'll see whether or not that translates to him becoming the best football player.

I got the information from SECcountry.com. I think they use the 24/7 rankings, not sure though. Deculus was probably a 5-star on other recruiting websites.

This site has a good write-up on all of the early enrollees.

O has been quoted as saying 8 of the 11 defensive recruits have potential 1st round NFL ratings by their staff. That's a damn strong group.

Delpit is ahead of Jacoby right now.

On the flip side, I don't see more than 2-3 future high NFL draft picks on offensive side.

Need some offensive skill in '18 class.

Phillips has the potential to be really good, but I expect Taylor to play more than him at first. He played at a small school and it will take time for him to adjust to the speed and physicality of the sec.

He's actually listed at 6'3" 235 lbs. on the LSU roster page.

Man, he and Devin White are going to be some big arse and lightning quick linebackers in 2018. Indeed, LSU's defense next year is going to be damn freaking strong, in all phases, at defensive line, at linebacker, and if we can find two good corners, in the defensive backfield too. That may be the year...if we can get the offense rolling.

He reminds me of Patrick Peterson the way he runs with the ball after a pick or a punt return.

Just watched Stevens hilites.

Good gracious!! He's like a grown man out there. His change of direction and acceleration are off the charts!

Can't wait to see him in P & G.

I disagree. Taylor's like 4.8/4.9 in the 40. Jacob Phillips is like 4.5 to 4.6 in the 40. And if my memory isn't betraying me, he was also the leading tackler at the in the Army all-American game in San Antonio as well.
